Ben is a phenomenal pilot. If you think watching a video is cool you need to come to an event and see it in person!!! Just purely amazing.

Last time I spoke with one of them I was joking about how hard it must be having to work all day in such a clunker….hehehe.

@@J.McFarlin yep however, as fun as these 500’s are to fly, they’re not exactly the most comfortable ships to sit for 12hr shifts, especially if you’re over 6ft tall! I can guarantee you they’d trade it in for a A-Star or 407 any day of the week! 😂

No, a manned copters pilot would not be able to survive the radical changes in G forces.

@@J.McFarlin would be interesting to put some g force logging sensors in the heli...to graph the g forces... You could then examine which manoeuvres could be undertaken, and expand the flight envelope ...not sure of applications apart from evasive flying in a military situation ... But it's impressive flight skills that he has

@@kodi1969 believe it or not there are a few different companies that make G-Force telemetry sensors for use in RC!!! Now you just make me wanna buy one to mount to Nicks Heli next time!!!! 😂

@@J.McFarlin it would definitely be some interesting data... Can the flight inputs be logged as well? Genuinely interested in analysing what's going on, with some of the manoeuvres there has to be a pre-emptive element due to signal delays.

Nope. That is a E model. The 530 has longer blades, tail rotor gearbox extension and a C-30 engine vs a C-20R in E models. Agreed the 530 would suit the FCSO better in high/hot areas of their vast county.

Was about to say. Should be a 500E. Tail number says it’s a 1991 369E which is a 500E.

Yessir. It’s a SAB tri tail assembly with some modifications done to the silder.

@@J.McFarlin sweet dude. I saw a tri tail for sale on HF and thought about putting it on my Raw. It'd be cool to see how you did it to the specter...

Hehe, those KBDD main blades are pretty loud. I run around 1750, 1850, and 2000ish. Usually stick round 1850 though.

@@J.McFarlin Ok you right the intro is about a min so flight is about a little over 3 min so that sounds about right for good packs I guess.
