Thank you for the kind words! need to look into that, not really fond of buying bon clays allthough i do admit he is almost essential for this build, i just made the best i could with what i already had from building rp law. I will try to find that deck see what i like thank you once again!

I hope you can figure things out, sucks having your leader banned. i started to play other things when the bon clays came out and were really expensive here, would still play law with a suboptimal build and was still fun. also, some thoughts on reiju? with the sr and the queens you have the most expensives cards already, everything else should be really cheap

Doesn't really matter does it? I have talked about this before when the speculation first started, if there is always a top 1 deck, apparently that deck is always broken so every top 1 is banned at some point wich means no top 1 deck is ever safe.

@@DoctorShambles1 when a deck has no bad matchups and only loses due to low roll, something has to happen to it.

@@PatDPuffy if you can find starter at a reasonable price yes, the "starter" for law was in fact limited edition structure deck that is very hard to find, if not most of the cards you use are cheap now so feel free to buy from singles only

@@DoctorShambles1 Thanks. I think I can still get the starter for a decent price, at least in Japanese. So I guess I'll get that and just fill in the missing cards with singles.

gonna be honest man its been very hard, the sim is very bugged now, when i try to practice op07 the lobbies just bug because every west player tries to get in at the same time, and when i try op08 many people instant dodge

No shuraya is not that needed in op07 for the west meta, i do still play it because i don't have bon clay, so to me there are more matchups where shuraya is usefull overall. If you have bon clay to make big swings late game you can very well replace shuraya for the blocker law wich has use in every matchup if people go to 7 cards in hand and is still a blocker.

Black and yellow go unoticed alot because they are never the top color, the only time was saka and he got banned. With the attention on RP Law now some people don't realize how broken moria character is, even with more responses to him in the current meta most players (even the ones that do play the character) agree moria is an almost auto-win card. BB will come as a way to counter is own color and yellow by making sure they cant just play auto-win cards aswell as he cant play any on his own. As i said, BB IS a banlist in form of leader, and he is also the reason i dont believce rp law will be banned as a leader, could still bve wrong but bb can slow down rp law enough, that and if the banlist hits some cards of law its all that is needed.

The Boa leader specifically has the Blue bubble key word "Your Turn". There is also a blue bubble keyword "On Opponents attacks" which is what most of the Yellow Purple Crocodile Leader utilizes. The new Shanks leader specifically doesnt have the "On Opponents attack" key word, which implies that its an isolated ability.

@@austynkozak4073 this was my thought process aswell. They coudlve putted the bubbla and then specified on the first sentence that it could be in any attack that your oponent throws at you and not the first "you may activate this effect at any attack of your opponents turn". Boom the bubble would be there, people would 100% know it was during opponents turn AND that it could be at any given attack (wich is the excuse everybody is giving for it to not have the blue bubble). There was no need for this confusing choice of words but again, i may be giving bandai too much credit.

@@koujexopcg i dont think it will be enough to dethrone law, as i said the way they design it was so law had a very good matchup into bb, and i think it was on purpose. I still think sanji and bb will shift the meta, but dont need him to be the new top deck, just need him to stop my law from getting banned haha

@@DoctorShambles1 man you have to be sitting on eggshells waiting on this announcement for the bans lol I honestly have no idea what bandai will do. They have such a varied track record with bans.

i think he is going to be healthy for the meta, unless his character card is straight out broken to make him worse than whitebeard prime, saka prime and law prime combined😱

he does counter you and thats why he is the second most popular deck, because he counters you, i would say the matchup is 65-35, the extra 5 being that he has more consistency than law. these were just some tips to try and help. Some people do try to make the "going first" decklist for law to ignore the other people strategies and just be more aggro onto lives with curve plays more on going first. Maybe that would adapt more to your playstyle.

i had the perfect number to counter in hand anyways, he would be 11k swing i had up to 12k as counter. Obviously it would be a better play, but i left this game in the video cause it just wouldnt matter.

Could do that, would have made me finish next turn, but if i didnt finish next turn after that i would have 0 cards in hand, was just playing it safe, the calculations were overall correct but it is what it is. Thank you for the input tho!

nonono haha no need, he wont be used in op08 and the deck is doing great so i dont mind not having him, he is my nº2 fav character after law but i already bought so manuy cards completeing so many decks for cheaper then it would be to buy the mr2 that im like "yeah if i can get 2 competitive decks for the price of 4 cards, im straight up not giving that money", im just gonna save for maria now SHE IS NEEDED IM GONNA STARVE TO KEEP MY ADDICTION GOING.

depends on the curve play, the meta is slower right now, if going first, depending on the matchup, zorojuro is A MENACE if dropped at second turn, sometimes even on going second he is good to drop and make a 6k swing, but you need him at starting hand, as you reach mid game he becomes a 1k counter, thats why you play 4 so you can see him in the starting hand. AND if they do spend resources early game to remove him, it just straight out sets them back not building board to pressure you and you get value by making pressure yourself since they coudnt do much after dealing with him.

he does, because with black maria all other blockers like queen and blocker law dont have a set back anymore, this means you can make as much pressure as you want, if they take lifes you can drop blocker law, wich is really op in op08, and if you go down too much on don just play maria with leader effect and get everything back. this makes the need for shuraya not that much, you get value of blocker law by making enemy discard 2 cards and get value with queen cause you draw, if anything just get that value and block sacrificing them after, that is so much value if you plan ahead and play around with those effects in mind.

Sure, you can cheat out Sanji in whatever situation you have -2 Don than your opponent. You can cheat him out with Laws ability

like our dear friend said, yes you can cheat him out, it is actually one of the main reasons why you play him in your deck, that combo places one big cost body, very hard for yellow and black color to remove.

i did try but teching too many cards ends up just sending me more brick hands, so i decided to leave him out, i am very sad he is a really good card but in op08 i am going to have the space for him again, for now ill just play with strategy and be a bit more aggro with the numbers to try and bait out cards from hand instead of using his ability.

@@DoctorShambles1 yeah I see, sometimes it's kinda handy since you can also put him out of leader effect to block, but I'll try a bit more the ace variation till op08, he might be fun as well

i do love the deck, and i am thinking about making 2 videos on him so far, one is just deck breakdown of my decklist for op07, the other one is showcasing my strategy with him and how consistent he is in op08 (with decklist showcase). unfortunatly next week there wont be videos of him and its just a video of pluffy and kata decklist idea discussion, since those are the new ones and the ones i need to do more research for so i decided to dedicate a video on them asking for help.
