Nobody has bin better than Hasek was at his peak. Roy and Marty might be awesome and played more, but at thier peak, they where noway near Haseks peak. He edged out Jagr who was outstanding 2 times to get the Hart memorial trophy that says it all. And my favorite goaltender of all time is Martin Brodeur. Hasek might not have bin the greatest but he sure was the best during his prime time.

A shame Alex could never put together a great season as a Ranger. Alex had as much talent as ANY forward I ever saw in the NHL. How this guy didn't score 50 goals a season at least 4 or 5 times has always baffled me. As good as his career turned out to be, to me, it was never as good as it could have been.

@hardworker0707 Ok, let me just say this for a second man. I LOVE this guy, that's why I'm watching the video. Born and raised in Clinton, TWP. MI. and lifelong Wings fan. This man has, and will FOREVER be my favorite goalie EVER. With that being said, I honestly dont feel he is the best. If he packed on 300 or 400 more games with the stats he had, hands down the best ever. I still feel that Terry Sawchuk is the best goalie there ever was, the man played as a damn cripple.

Hasek had an incredible style, but saying he is better than every goalie who ever played the game is the dumbest thing I ever heard of. I dont know how old you are but if you could have watched Terry Sawchuk or Glenn Hall, you wouldn't be saying that so easily.

@hardworker0707 ??? Where did you get me not liking his style? Never stated that, just stated they dont show his flop goals on highlight reals. I dont care what trophy you get and how many medals or cups you get either. In my opinion Hasek was an outstanding goalie and the best at his style. He is not the best goalie however. It's a fairly tough list for "Best Goalie". Terry Sawchuk, Glenn Hall, and yes Patrick Roy and Marty Brodeur. Hasek........not better then those men, I'd say equal or less.

"sid has checkers so he has it easier" how does that work? hes the only one on his line who is dirty and he makes everyone else on his line even better..sid doesnt get amazing passes from dupuis and talbot all the time like ovechkin would from semin backstrom and all those other great players to score goals side just does it by himself...and i never said ovechkin is shit..i think best players in the nhl are 1.crosby and then 2. a tie with either ovi and datsyuk

@henkinater Best goalie is clearly given out by fans of his. Dont get me wrong I live in Detroit but he is not the best and far from it. Dom was more of the "most entertaining" goalies than the best. Nobody sees the highlights when he flops and lets goals in.
