Any way to have the watch vibrate after a set distance ?
Yes you can set it to vibrate at any distance. I set mine at 500 and check my pace so it's not too often!
I fell and broke my hip not because I couldn't get unclipped, but because I forgot one side was clipped in at a red light. Flat pedals are just fine for most people. I do use pedals with spikes in them, so I split the difference.
I’m new to this and agree, this is an excellent video for first timers like myself. I would also agree that you also learn after hitting the asphalt deck as I just did 😊……Practice, practice, practice!!!
Hope not to much road rash - we have all been there - happy practicing!! 🎉
ty!
Welcome!!
Loved this workout
Music way too loud.
Thank you!
You're welcome!
The music to this stretch is 🤌🏻🙌🏼🎶🎵🤗
Happy you like it LOL! XXOO
show me how to clip in on a very steep grade
Best instructional video on CZcams on clip-less pedals -- thank you!
Wow, thanks!
What Garmin watch are you using?
thanks
These tunes rule and get me focused to learn
Lose the music. We can’t hear what you’re saying. And it’s annoying.
Hi after my first breath despite kicking i am not moving
I was today years old when I learned about the existance of these pedals.
Well.. I am here right after falling off my bike from trying clip-less for the first time 😅
great video about clipping in and out, although its been proven on many videos (search clipless v flat) that clipless DO NOT make you faster. So ride flats if you feel more comfortable and safe.
Best video I've seen so far on this topic. The technique for clipping in with breaks, giving it a push, and getting on the saddle was crucial for me given that I've gotten used to starting with the wrong foot. Thank you!
for those who may have trouble with these drills, which are good drills, try using swim fins. the frustration that a lot of people encounter is "going nowhere" which for many is merely repeating the same mistakes. use the fins until you experience what it feels like to move smoothly through the water. wean yourself off the fins gradually. they work for me with my classes.
yes, of course, there are actually a few regressions you can take if these drills are too difficult; number 1 is flexibility in the hips! - if you don't have it, even kicking across the pool with a kickboard can be challenging- SO please check out my swim stretch video on this playlist. Then use fins- my favorite is the Z2's from Finis, and I have a link to them here on my www.swimoutlet.com/fullcircle store. These fins are not too long and can help improve your ankle mobility and get you using your hips to kick. Please master this kick series with fins as well as doing your dry land swim strength video, and you can greatly improve your propulsion. My swim essentials course is starting on Feb 17/ 18 2024. look for information on how to join in person or virtually!
Ok 🤨
Are you working on your kick skills?!
nothing looks more stupid and ugly than a fucking bike helmet.
feeling good naked is for people who look good naked. if you look terrible, and you see need for improvement, feel bettet after you fix it. have your good feelings about yourself based upon substance, rather than just changing your perception of how fat you are. dont build your self esteem on a foundation of sand, earn it through dedication and consistant hard work over time. then you will never lose it
also never take advice from women. because all you ever get is useless emotional fluff and drivel like this, rather than hard truths you can use.
yes Enlig I have bruises! I have not told anyone so but how did you know?
So much fun!
Yes can't wait to do level 2 in the spring- too cold now!
Hi thanks so much
🚴🏼♀️ 🚴🏻♂️ 🙌🏼 ❤
Rock out your week !!
Bruises are the best teacher 😂😂😂
They are great for story telling! Oh the memories lol
What is your story in this?!
Got my first clip-less pedals after I joined a club. No one really coached me on how to use them. I was just given a 2 min crash course by one of the guys. After a long ride with the same club one day, at the end of the ride, we stop. I unclip my left (lead foot) and forget to unclip the right. We chat, I try to get off my bike and I remember that I did not unclip the right, it was too late! Bang on the ground. 😂 Bruised my right knee. The second time: I am from a ride one evening, approaching the gate of my house, I press open the gate/garage remote to open the gate and the garage. Gate opens. Garage does not open. I was too far for the garage to pick up the signal from the remote control. I press to open the garage the second time, it opens, slowly. Now too close to a slowly opening garage, with both feet still clipped in, i remember that I did not unclip. With the garage half-opened, realising that I should stop suddenly, both feet still clipped in, still moving at moderate speed, inexperienced in unclipping quickly, I squeeze the brakes and try to unclip quickly, too late. Bang on the ground! I sprain the middle finger of my right hand, which is still healing 😂 There are a number of other stories I can share. Think these will be enough 😅😅😅
Ugh, I'm so sorry, but it really means you need to take an hour 1 day and - push off, clip in, coast, clip out, and stop, repeat, repeat, repeat. Always use the same leg to push off and land on- DON'T switch that leg because your brain gets confused. Get some knee guards- and practice practice @@Downdotloader . You got this!!!
Thank you very much for the info. I am used to them now, alas, a few falls and several near-misses later 😂😂
WHY the loud irrelevant music?😗
I agree, my Microphone didn't pick up as I turned away from the camera!- I got better mic's since then! but thanks for the feedback!
video is made by an total idiot. camera work totally sucks.
An oldie (2021?) and a goldie!!!
lol 100%!! These are things most people are scared of talking about too but makes such a difference . MISSING YOU! When are we racing again !?
The most effective way to master it is to do it wrong so that you hit the deck. Once understand the pain of failure, you’ll always succeed.
I'm hoping to help people avoid the fall we have all had!!!! That which does not kill us makes us stronger!
Bruises are the best teacher 😂😂😂😂
Reading this after falling like a dead tree about 3 times! After watching the video and learning the tips I can finally say I know what I’ve been doing wrong :) thank you!
I can relate to this comment
Not necessarily! 😢
Great video! Thank you
Glad you liked it!
If I was learning this I’d be wearing long sleeves and pants!
ha ha- if you take your time that won't be needed but good prevention just in case!!! @@grahamriley8124
U need to eat food also 😂😂
Of course These give me an additional 20 grams of protein on top of a 2500-3000 calorie nutritional plan - we were just about to ride 3000 miles across the United States for RAAM Ride across America And these Perfect Aminos were life savers for getting my 130 grams of protein in every day!!
😊
That last note on inside of the cassette just saved me a world of pain, thanks!!
Glad it helped!
Cool thank you...! I'm only beginning to get deeper into my own bike maintenance, and now I want to know everything....
Glad to help! Excited for your journey l- Check out the rest of my bike playlist!
@@FullCircleCoaching will do, thank you…

Well done Willy!
I tried those sandals with no cushion and I couldn't stand the pain. Not everyone has feet soles tough enough to wear them. I love the idea. But it won't work if the bottoms of your soles hurt. It makes walking impossible.
Hi Suzy Yes I agree this is a process You cannot just switch to being barefoot and wearing low cushion shoes Feet need to get strong first And may not ever be able to be walking / running no cushion if your fat pads on your feet are gone. But you can definitely go zero drop and that will help Also strengthen and lengthening your lower leg is essential! I have my Run Essential class coming up in September!! Walk/ run mechanics are also important
Hi Erinne, thank you so much to share this helpful video. I completely agree with you. I have this problem now, i've been using the Brand On run shoes, but now all the models have high cushioning, and i can't run with this kind of shoes. Which one do you recommend me to buy now, without high cushioning? I like the model you show in this video, but you said they don't make it anymore. I need to buy a new running shoes because mine they got 500 kms. So recommend one please.
I'm so happy you understand!! And Xero shies are the brand I recommend - check out them out at this link!! xeroshoes.com/go/FC They last forever and have an awesome warranty!! Lmk how you like them!!
@@FullCircleCoaching thank you so much to answer, I will check the shoes you recommended. Still sharing good tips and great videos.
Well done everyone 💯👏👏
Thanks Jeremy - think about joining us for camp next year- would be great to have you!!!
Awesome advice as always Erin. I keep trying to run before breakfast but during my run I feel a little dizzy and I think this will improve when my body becomes adapted to training on an empty stomach. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge with us Erin.
My pleasure as always! Love your energy and enthusiasm- Lmk how it goes after you eat a little more!
Why not use the Interval option?
You so can in order to challenge yourself even more with it beeping at you when ready. Intervals will help increase your open water skills out there
❤
hey look...its you!
This is how we do it! 🏊🏻♂️❤️
smoothness!!
What's the significance of breaking the surface of the water?
Just the ankles breaking the surface allows you to be in stream line. Think of a light boil movement of the water. If feet and legs too low underwater they are drag- think about your body being like a boat up on a plane after the acceleration happens- or staying below the water the body never gets on the plane that allows it to cut through the water with the least amount of resistance
When you feet gently break the surface like a light boil it indicates the legs are not dragging which slows you down
