Man that’s a nice place dose where it is ??? That’s big water … we have one dam here where I live and it is infested with rattle snakes so myself I don’t like it and won’t fish it ,,,the one time I did I ended up killing 2 rattle snakes,,,and yes I do kill them ,,only rattlers ,,no other snakes …. Reason being is we have thousands and thousands of them here and here you really can get hit by one ,,,people do all the time ,,,I’ve seen folks get hit …. Just so people don’t think I’m a snake hater ,,,nope not the case I only kill rattlers no others …here in south east New Mexico at the Texas state line there’s one river the pecos river and it ain’t shit most of the time,,,but I came I saw I made my $$$ and now I’m ready to get on soon as we sell this big ass house …lm looking to get to a big water state near the Mississippi or east Texas or any place but here … but yes can some one tell me where that is please and thanks… I really like this kid ,,may need to work on videoing skills cause we miss a lot of the action but he is very well spoken and knows his stuff …thumbs up kiddo with respect,,,I’m like close to 70 so most are kiddos to me …

Now, this IS the type of fishing that I have knowledge of..... below the Lake Texoma Dam we fished mostly for Stripper's but one never knew what might get the bait? Large Cat's run in that heavy water when they're generating electric or when a lake is overflowing. But on Texoma you're up on a wall very high up & casting a long way to catch the edge of the the "Boil" and that's a lip that water comes across, behind it there's normally a great dip or Hole as we called it. I like your dam as you're right on it & there's not many people. We'd have 30-50 anglers w/ 10'-15 foot rods in a line to cast & then working down the wall as your bait went down river. IF ya hooked up it could be 20-30 minutes on rough conditions, rocks, fishermen, & miles of line w/ hooks, sinkers, lures, and stuff all raveled together on the bottom. When water got turned off, we'd try to sneak up under the cables/signs to retrieve some of those large lures. I've been caught/ticketed trying to get free lures but HEY, thank you for reminding me of what I used to do. It's not an easy way to fish but it can produce & you're using the same bait, cut & bluegills if I saw that bait? Yup, thanks man..... waiting on the next installment> Fish Boils

here in Idaho Oregon border we got like 3 or 4 ft catfish dawg all kinds of catfish breeds sometimes the sturgeon will just grab ur line and break it of too
