Ill get PS5 pro. Yes, they could have made cheaper like $600 and also reduced the raw power of the console to match that price. Ill take that extra power that $700 provides. Mostly average people are complaining. But honestly Pro model was never for average people. There is nothing wrong with staying on base PS5. Pro is for small numbers of enthusiast that can afford it. And let’s not forget people brought PS5 for $1000 on eBay when it came out. Also honestly $700 in current economy doesn’t have much value. Because of inflation. this entire generation of consoles didn’t get any price cut. Yes, Everyone is struggling. Some more than others. That is why some people sill plays on PS4 or brought a Xbox series S.

I still think that price is wack. If you want PS5 Pro + the stand + the disc drive, you’re looking at $800+ yeah… no, at least include the stand smh. You can get a decent mid range refurbished PC for around $500, which will last you longer. I’ll probably just stick with my base PS5, because most games there are still 60fps, even the upcoming Silent Hill 2 Remake is 60fps, and if a third party game isn’t 60fps, or has trash image quality, i have my PC with right there

Nah at that price you might as well buy a refurbished PC. You can get a decent mid range PC for around $500. Saw one before with an RTX 3050, an intel core i5-8400, a 1TB SSD, and 16GB of ram

Coz the live service space is so saturated, so even if you make a good game unless you have a major unique selling point its hard to pull people in with a $40 price point when all their direct competition is free to play.

I'm late to the party but Joel did the right thing, a real doctor explained that there is no cure for a fungus, and why would you immediately unalive the only immune person you have? you first try to draw some bloood and use petri dishes and it takes a while, after all options are depleted you can try operating, but what if you find a cure, how are you going to make that cure and distribute it all over the world? everyone wants it so they are just going to war over the cure and knowing people, nobody will get it 😂 Fireflies are a little dumb so Joel did the right thing. they could at least waited so joel and ellie could talk about it and he would respect her decision in the end 🤔

I’ve only played the first three MGS, but MGS3 is literally a downgrade in every single aspect compared to MGS2, the only highlight is the fight against Boss, but EVA’s monologue ruins the entire game

I can tell you want they needed, was to not lean into the culture war stuff so hard. Yeah, I've not heard about the developers going on any tears, but they still put pronouns front and center. They still chose to go with designs that are mostly unappealing to most people. What the industry as a whole needs is to stop taking sides in the culture war, stop chasing live service, and start giving the majority what it wants. That's why they fail, because they just can't do that. I don't know if it's a skill issue or an intellectual issue, or ideological issue. But they have issues.

It needs to be cancelled before it even has the chance to fall, because fail it’s going to do. And hard. Nobody is interested.

Can't wait to play it. Had a great time in the Beta. The devs said they are going to find a solution for people leaving games. I already got my money out of the 2 betas.. over 30 hours, so 40 bucks on release with no battlepass or any of that nonsense is perfectly fine with me

I don't like the character designs, it's horrendous

Definitely for me the biggest issue was people leaving matches mid game. Like you said, they currently don't have a system for in-progress matchmaking. If they can add that, and a punishment for leaving then it would make the game feel a lot better. Balancing was a little bad, but nothing outrageous.

The games doesn't really need a great story at all, most PS games don't even have that good stories or don't focus on them at all, Helldivers 2 doesn't have a story just worldbuiling and it's still amazing bc they focus on gameplay which matters way more. They should add an option to keep the camera on first person when you dash, dodge or activate special attacks/abilities bc it feels horrible, clunky and dumb, i would even dare to say that's bad game design bc it ruins the flow of the game.
