thought about running a few cyclists over before now, not by accident but on purpose. thank god its not germany. always stuck behind the slow trucks on the hills with no overtaking,been there.

@slapyurmomma1 Hi, in the ireland & uk you will get flashed by another truck when you have passed him , he will be just letting you know you are good to come back into the lane. my mate was only flashing the lights as he was passing me for the camera, but sometimes if you are going to pass somebody and they look as if they aren't watching we would give them a flash so they know your coming by.

I just love the old buildings. It would be very diffacult to get used to sitting on the right side of the truck. The actual driving part I would eventually grasp, but I've been tipping my coffee mug with my right hand for 33 years. I don't think my lips would trust me if I tried to feed or drink with my left.

My god that's some beautiful countryside. I've been a trucker for 33 years. Every voice in my head (there are many) was screaming ,,,get over,,move right,,, for the love of god your going to have a head-on collision, murder death mayhem carnage blood and guts, GET OVER!!! I don't know if I could ever make myself drive on the left.

It wasn't much wider than a pig trail! Good thing you didn't encounter another truck or one of you would have had to do a bunch of backing.

@wheelnut059 i see your a truck driver, then you know that road is a really quiet one , would not try to make it on M6 in B/ham. there is having fun and being completely stupid. just so you know i have 19 years of driving trucks in europe (left & right hand drive) i have had 1 accident which happened after being cut up by a car.only every been nicked by are friends VOSA 1 time and no points ever put on my licence. is yours this good .

@shinysideup100 . i went up to inverurie after dunning. i take it your a good road racing and hislop fan . i had the pleasure of racing with him years ago in the 250cc class. he was a top class racer. moody, mcleod,simpson. good racer's.. i did manage to beat foggy's 7 year old lap record at aintree. was happy that day. laters

could be more the pilot rather than the truck. full load on . sunday going out usually at the max weight. not a V8 like some people have. lol

@Trustisaliability yes automatic and special holder for the camera. crazy mad but not stupid. only had one accident in a truck . not bad for 7million k/metres considering how many dick heads there is driving cars , we avoid 7 on average accidents a day because of are skill not car drivers skills. be good and be carefull who you may bump into.

Just once I'd like to see what it's like to drive a truck onto a ferry. I drove a motorcycle onto a ferry once and that was alot of fun. Not much fun for the poor sap that had to clean up my trail of vomit, but fun for me anyhow.
