Our school got to sing this during the festival and it was incredible, You're an amazing conductor, writer and teacher and it was probably one of my favorite concerts. It's still stuck in my head!

Y'know, at ACDA Southern, you asked us what this song meant to us, and I do really wish I could have heard everyone's reply, even if that took hours. For my 2 cents, I personally see 2 main motifs in the song: The marching on of Time & The Human Spirit. Time is self-explanatory. No matter what happens or what you're feeling, that, too, shall pass. It's the same with the Human Spirit & Progress. No matter how much of a rut you're in, you will get up again and keep going.

I have had the upmost fun performing this piece is the 2023 Massachusetts All-State Choir (my last year) and unfortunately our concert was first postponed due to weather but then canceled due to lack of communication with venues. I still have my folder and my music and I remember the whole bass part to this. This song is and will forever be my fav Choir piece ever! Thanks Sydney for composing this head-banger of a piece!❤❤❤
