Last navigation of my Collie before Ciaran tempest. The wind is already strong. But my little boat holds pretty well . The video speed is normal, I didn't speed it up. The Micro Magic sails fits very well to a vintage Collie, and the boat is quick even in light wind. Hope you'll apreciate. Here is an old video (2015) of my trusty Thunder Tiger Victoria I, when I made her 3D sails from NACRA film. These sails still equip the boat today. If you pay attention you will occasionally hear the shrouds singing. Sorry for the quality of the video, but I wanted to share this moment with you.

Whose your driver? And is he 6 or 7" tall? That's some pretty steep hillclimbs. I bought a black one for my birthday. It'll be here in a week. I noticed you're still running the stock tires? They must be performing OK. I was hoping not to have to buy tires right away. Love your vids! Was it a 2200 3s lipo you ended up using? Thanks, and I'll be looking for more content!
Glad you like my videos, and I think you made a good purchase. The rider is Wild Willy from Tamiya, I kept the original tires which work well. I am using a 3300mAh LiPo which I placed in the front transverse position.

The Metal Chassis make all the difference to climbing on steep terrain. Are the metal wheels or do you have wheel weights in? Great Video.

Haha! Yep! Two things, the first is the excessive weight of the original NiMh battery which is placed at the back and which I will replace with a LiPo as soon as I receive my XT 60. (180 gr vs 280 gr). The second, and the video shows it badly, is the slope which is not far from 60 degrees... But this little machine is amazing. Since the video I modified some things, I reduced ,among others, the ground clearance (-10mm), rebuild the rear cross member and the front bumper (thinner) fore more scale look.
