Can someone here help me? So I have this remote control mechanism that shoots out smoke when you press a button. The mechanism has to go into a metal piece. However when I seal the metal piece with the module. It looses all signal and I cant cause smoke to be produced. Is there some sort of module that could strengthen the signal from the button to the mechanism that can penetrate through the metal?

I use fm transmitter to feed headphones at my job. I might like it to go 50 feet instead of 20, but I don’t need 5 miles of range.

30 Years ago I built a much smaller Stereo version of one of these with around 800mtr Range. 24/7 John Denver was playing from a Multi Disc Pioneer CD Player. I tricked Everybody in the Local Area for Months that their was a dedicated FM John Denver Radio Station.

That looks a great circuit. I built your last FM transmitter and it got out miles on a fishing rod Dipole lol. although just a length of wire off the board worked almost as well. Coax loss I bet. Got and of them spare MOD variable capacitors?

Why stop there? Why not use a chisel to point out individual sections?

How do u make the device that mesures the transmitter power? Also why does the amplifier have to be in multiple stages?

Always use a RF input instead of BlueTooth so you can station your TX far away from your house in case some Karen fox hunts your signal, or the MIB come knocking. Better to lose a transmitter than an entire pirate radio station. Because yes, we know that's why we're all here. ;)

This construction is a very nice idea. I also wanted to make an output amplifier for the transmitter like the one you have. But I hesitated because its output is very small and I would need extra amplifier stages to get an output power of 1-2 watts at most, which is the power I need. Because all these Chinese constructions, apart from being sensitive and easily damaged, also have the problem of harmonics. But I believe that with enough experimentation and placing a LC filter between transmitter and amplifier, but also with placing an amplifier matching circuit with the antenna and a well calculated bandpass filter before the antenna there will be no problem. The low cost, around 15 euros of the entire construction, makes it a tempting proposition for every amateur or hobbyist. Thanks for the presentation

How would I increase the transmission power? I suppose I canot feed more then 12V into it for more power (what parts need to be replaced so they can handle more voltage?)

By modulating the input with an audio transformer in series with the + voltage connection instead of the capacitor the sound equality is improved and less distortion. The crystal is best set at constant 5v supply. Great vidio thank you. I have used 1meghz crystal for vintage MW radio restoration.

Very bad idea. It be increase the range, but these tiny micro transmitters are not meant to be amplified because their signal output isn't very clean and will cause interference with all kinds of spurs and harmonics and wipe out other stations.

I built a bluetooth to fm sender using that tx, a button-less bt module, tp4056 lithium charger board, 1860 battery & a usb c charging port. It was for someone who's car radio lacked a blutooth connection.

Those little transmitters sound nice to me but should not be amplified as they output unwanted frequencies including close to the wanted frequency. So a low pass filter wont get rid of those. This is what gets pirates a bad reputation.

That's TERRIFYING !!! 4 yrs ago I got a nice cheap AliExpress 60w soldering iron with LCD temperature control for $10, it takes Hakko 900 tips and works perfectly for thru hole and SMD work 👍 I even accidentally left it on for 2 weeks and it still works fine !! LoL

I bought a cheap Chinese version of EBay, for under 20.00 bucks.. The strangest thing, I use one in the car, and one in the house.. When I walk arround in a 6 to 8 block circle, I easily can pick up my mussic from home... It's not powerful enough to over ride broadcast FM stations... But I'm amazed how my old anolog FM tuner s pick up off my cd player or smartphone.. I have no idea on the wattage, built in battery that charges with a type C cell ph charger.. I even had the idea of using two transmitters at the same time, and the range doubled to a insane range, but not very audible, as the feed back was bad, even at 20 feet distance from each other... Just a spliter cable from the head ph jack.. I'm using a empty FM frequency not in in use to stay anonymous with the neighbour's...
