Tesla Model Y European Trailer Hitch
zhlédnutí 19KPřed 2 lety
Use link ts.la/nina86030 to order new Tesla. I created this video because CZcams has mostly videos of the American version. European system seems simpler/easier and the plug is a lot more robust and waterproof.

prima video!
nice video!
What floormat in your trunk do you have there? Like it!
It is from shop.tesla.com
I’ve got one, when I remove it I can’t work out how to get the key out of the tow hitch, nothing seems to want to turn, the handle is stuck in the out position. I can remove it when the hitch is installed. Any clues? And yes, this is the only video I’ve found on CZcams of the euro tow hitch!
You are not supposed to remove the key when it is removed from the car. Why would you want it out? It might get lost. You can trick it so it thinks it is installed and then remove it but why bother.
@@sjobbefin The Model Y manual says to remove it and replace the dust cover. It also doesn't fit so well in the carry case with the key fitted.
Does the price include the 13-pin wiring? In the UK there are two prices (£1090 and £1200), and I can't see what the difference is.
Yes, it's included
@@sjobbefin excellent!
Hello, thanks. is this a tesla which ordered with option of Tow Hitch at the beginning? Or Tow Hitch is not ordered at the beginning, but we can install it by myself ?
You order it from Tesla website. Installation at your local Tesla dealer is included in the price.
@@sjobbefin Clear, So first, it should be ordered at the beginning before you got the car. If you already got the car, you can only install it after changing the rear crash beam。
As fat as I know it is never installed at the factory. The local Tesla dealer does it always. Get your car first and then order it.

"Pikkuisen" myöhäinen kommentti, mutta eikös tuo nyt ole Bella Falcon 26:n kopio...? Ei millään pahalla ajateltuna, tuli vaan mieleen heti kun näin....
Katsottiin ensin Bellaa mutta se on huomattavasti sarjatuotetumpi, eli sisustan viimeistely ei ole läheskään yhtä hyvä. Materiaalit ja laatu heikompi.
@@sjobbefin Okei, mulla on bella falcon 26 fantino. Olisi kiva kuulla sun mielipiteitä tarkemmin, ehkä yksityisesti....
Why'd you replace the LDO? Is it safe to run these directly off 4s battery?
I have this exact problem but when I solder to the pads I get no tone at all?? have tried both ways and used multiple buzzers, any ideas?
I had the same issue thanks for the video. This fixed it right up... Aliexpress strikes again..
Thank You!!! You resolved my problem!!!
Just got a few clones from Aliexpress : same fucking problem. Thanks a lot for that video !
Thank you!! This is what I got too - clone board buzzer connector incorrectly polarized which led to constant beep after plugging in, ignored connector and soldered to pads under board, works perfectly! Thanks again
Thank you! Got same problem Bought mine at aliexpress/ RC Hobby Market
Thanks for the solution i have this problem to.
Thanks for the video. Wires were backwards on my buzzer, flipped them and then I get constant tone. Then google brings me right to you. Well done
Yep. I just found out this was an issue. Thought I had first connected the buzzer wrong. Thanks for the video..
So here's what's wrong with the socket, the processor normally switches the ground and the socket is straight to the ground circuit. It should go through the switch as the solder points do. Pure F***% genius (NOT).
Check mine and its the same. The piezo is left floating so it just squeals. Did anyone buy theirs from HK??
thanks man ,i don't realize until i saw your video
Thanks got the same problem after connector was broken, now I use the underneath buzzer solder pads on this clone.
Thank you for the tip to connect the pads directly. It worked for my (good)luck clone. Happy FPVing !
Just solder buzzer to the pads. Forget about the connector
J. Sjoberg what pads, do you know a page with images of how to connect it?
hobbyking sold one of these. I connect buzzer and no sound. Then reversed wires and cot continuous alarm. Then discovered same thing...
so how did you fix it? i am having the same problem
Do not remember. I removed contact. Put wire through the hole and soldered somewhere. Better remember that next one I bought elsewhere. From there, where the housing was included :)
Forget about the buzzer connector and pads on top, underneath there is buzzer solder pads use that (see sp racing manual bottom view in near bottom left corner)
How to fix it?
I had the same issue with the clone with sockets. I then purchased 2 original ones from GetFPV and they work as advertised. It makes one wonder what else is done incorrectly.
thanx man, have the same problem
Hy, Sorry, but I dont understand it ?? What have you done with the Cable from the Buzzer ?
+U Fre Connected it to the Buzzer connector. That connector is not in contact with the transistor but with the ground. In short: this Chinese copy is not correctly manufactured.
I bought the copy intentionally. It's less than half the price. I figured out that it is only the buzzer socket negative that is connected to wrong ground. Buzzer works now fine when connecting it to the pads beneath the socket. Of course I feel bad for not supporting the community monetarily but I try to help otherwise.
The board is not an SPRacingF3 original board. It is a fake China copy. Not suprising you're getting issues. If you want support then buy the original boards please. Official retailers can be found here: seriouslypro.com/retailers
+Dominic Clifton I know you can spot it from a mile, but what are the visual differences (for the untrained eye) so we know and don't get fooled?
+archtechgr Hi. two variants are in the wild. variant 1) buzzer and vbat sockets. variant 2: no Cleanflight logo and different component positions
yeah you can spot the clone a mile a way.. its the reasonably priced one :) Apart from the buzzer banggood one it all hunky dory
also the banggood one has a good 500ma rated voltage regulator whereas original is 50ma, crap and expires often killing the board
Maybe i missed it but I don't see where he was asking for support. Seemed to me he was attempting to give support.
hello. someone told me.. it's better use ECC Memory when i'm going to use more than 64GB ... in the other case use a normal memory.. Jan it's really true that ? thx for the answer :)
