Hey there! I followed the normal route as best as I could and it bypassed the crevasses fairly well. It’s been three years so I don’t remember all that much but only issue I had was fairly steep ice/snow climb up the Rottalsattel and then fairly steep ridge up to the top of Jungfrau. I had no rope but I had two iceaxes and it helped a lot. I descended the same way. I didnt start from hut but from the first Jungfraujoch train so the snow was quite soft and terrible… but somehow I made it… I have found my old gps record on strava, dunno if it helps strava.app.link/mxbfLXzwSJb Good luck out there!

Hi! I’ve spent the night in Chamonix and took the first cable car (actually I belive it was second one since the first was already full). I started the climb at 7:00am and it took me six hours to the summit. Then another five hours descending via Gouter to the “tramway” station so I was able to catch the last ride down. It’s doable but it is quite exhausting since you have to be kinda rushing. Ice/snow during ascent was fine, during descent it was very soft but it didn’t really matter since gouter route is easier. Rocks were falling quite heavilly in late afternoon in “death couloir” under gouter so pay attention. You don’t need to have reservation for the first cablecar, just be there earlier since plenty of climbers want to go up early. Good luck out there!

Ahoj, výstup vede sněho/ledovou stěnou se sklonem 50°-55°. Na začátku té stěny byl (aspoň v létě 2021 natažen krátký fix, který je myslím vidět i na videu) ale vedl jen přes krátky obzvlášť ledový úsek. Když jsem pod to stěnou stál přišlo mi to jako pravoúhlá zeď. A dole nekonečná propast. Nedokážu odhadnout kolik metrů ta stěna má, ale měl jsem toho plný zuby a v půlce si potřeboval trochu oddechnout... což není bez zajištění úplně easy. Bez lana bych to sám už lézt nechtěl. A dolů v žádném případě... věděl jsem hned že musím sestoupat normálkou přes Gouter. A ta mi také pak skutečně ve srovnání přišla výrazně snadnější. Takže asi tak, s lanem a parťáky to ale asi nebude žádné drama, ale je to definitivně nejhorší místo celé trasy. Good luck

Hi! Thank you :) If we're talking glaciers, but less intense I think Austria would be perfect. I loved my time at Ötztal Alps, I spent week or so in Vent and climbed around there. Plenty of 3500+ peaks that are manageable solo (Wildspitze, Similaun, etc.) to choose from. Routes are fairly straightforward but beautiful. And that's only Ötztal . Well and since this is video from Switzerland... In Switzerland... I dunno... there's a lot... even some 4000+ peaks are imho much easier than stuff in this video. Breithorn, Allalinhorn, Weissmies... are all doable solo and offer amazing experiences. I also loved Dolomites in Italy, but only glacier is on Marmolada, but it's also worth it. It's fun because you can climb up via ferrata and go down via glacier. Good luck out there!
