Anwar from Morocco works in the dental industry. Thank you for the information
Those tabs that are sticking out are their to help hold the patients tongue down, the spouse complained this guy talked too much ..🤣
Tôp, muito boa explicação... Você é excelente no que faz.
😈4 month wait for my cheap upper and lower partials ! WTF? I can build a house in 30 days ! God created the universe in 7 !?🏴☠
Hi Luther. I was a denture tech for thirty two years and retired a while back. I recently got back to dabbling in it again. I've watched your videos as a refresher course and you have helped refresh my memory well of the procedures of denture fabrication. I like your attention to detail. So thank you for your videos.
Best of luck to you! Thanks for the comment. Dental lab stuff is changing fast.
Salam dari Indonesia, saya di indonesia jadi tukang gigi tapi bukan dokter gigi ☺️🙏 pembuatan gigi palsu orang asing sangat bagus

Hahaha I gonna make this one for my husband. Gonna leave those metal bits. Thanks for the tip.
Thank you Luther, it was not long at all, lots of important information, very helpful. 😊
Awesome beautiful
Good job
I'm a dental tech.for 47 years.I totally agree how you handle lingual undercuts on teeth.I do much the same. You'ld be surprised how many techs, don't understand that and run into problems. You seem to have a good understanding on denture fabrication.I always have a duplicate model.Less chairs side adjustments.
Thanks Larry. It seems simple but I think most understand the best when we actually perform it.
Great video amigo......thanks for sharing....I like that idea of securing that lingual bar.
You bet
That's just plain old good work Brother. Thanks for taking the time. I found The Plaster Guys a good source for all types of plaster including Dental Plaster.
Thanks Robert! 'Will check it out.
One tip that'll save me a lot of time is using plastalina modeling clay to box out adjacent teeth.it quickly becomes pliable when kneeded between fingers pushed into adjacent tooth area paralleled with acrylic spatula. you still have to clean up with bard-parker but it allows you to pour multiple gingival tones fast.
This particular material takes about 5 minutes to set, before cutting away excess material, and pouring the cast with Type 4 stone.
do you make house calls? ( :
Sorry Donnie! 'Too far away!
Nice work man.
Thank you!
thank you Luther, how do you feel about injection molding full dentures? I'm thinking about buying the injection molding press seems to me that it would make a thinner acrylic denture and also control shrinkage better when the material is injected. I would be using cold cure acrylic or acrylic pellets heated up to 400 plus degrees to melt them and then press them hot into the mold. do you have an opinion on this method?
Dave, I think the heat cured injection is probably the best method, but is more time consuming and still has to be done properly. Mainly, it HELPS compensate for some of the shrinkage that occurs during polymerization. I'll always be sceptical of self curing acrylics. They shrink more, have color issues over a long period of time, are more porous and questionable residual monomer content.
Great internet video content! It looks very expert! Maintain the excellent work!
Thank you very much!
thank you for sharing this information. I just bought a bioart articulator with facebow. still learning about this stuff and your videos have helped me a lot.
Amazing craftsmanship. When you were mixing the plaster what was the clear tube doing? Was it pulling a vacuum ?
Thanks Rob. Yes, tube pulls approx 26 lbs vacuum.
Sorry I missed this Rob. Yes, it pulls the porosity out of the plaster/stone. The net is about 15 lbs. of vac.
Great work!
thank you, where is a good source for magnet paper? also instead of using the mix you used I used a home made brew of play dough. I'm just not sure play dough would work with the magnet paper. I used a Tupperware bowl to sit it down in since the play dough stays soft it come right out. I really appreciate your videos they have helped me a lot.
The only company that makes the dental boxing magnets that I've found is Almore Dental. They are a heavier material than other magnets.
@@lutherison2325 thank you I really enjoy your helpful videos.
do you know anyone in so. cal. who knows how to set teeth like you? it's an 'art' ...making a natural smile-thank you.
I apreciate your class! Very good!
Would love to a complete start to finish denture
Awesome videos
Hello what do you use for your base plate ? Thanks you
Sorry this took so long to get back to you Jordan. We use Triad visible light cure material. I've used vacuum-form material (.60) and long ago used methyl methacrylate tray material.
