Really nice. It would have been better if there would be subtitle names of the places shown on video
Hi, in the video you mentioned you had a favorite cafe in Rome, may I ask for the name? thanks
Between 1941 and November 1942, Chalon-sur-Saône was one of only 4 crossing points for civilians from the unoccupied Vichy zone in the south to the German occupied zone in the north.
Really? wow interesting
HOW DOES THIS CHANNEL NOT HAVE MORE VIEWS & SUBSCRIBERS
Beautiful tour, looking forward to seeing these places in person, July 😊❤
Bonjour! A beautiful video! We plan on visiting this region of France this fall with our Long Stay Visa. Merci! Dean & Cindy
Why did this video have to end? 😞
You're always so kind, Steve
This is very good advice, you could have added knowledge of the particularities of the driving rules (you do not turn right at a red light, priority on the right in France...) and traffic signs in the form of pictograms and no lengthy texts like in the USA. I saw a photo of Roussillon, not very far from where I live. Did you like this region: the Luberon ? L'Isle sur la Sorgue is a very pretty village. Lemons and lavender, well done! Well summarized!
Hi could you please help me and tell me if I rent a car from Athena and in a round trip and go to Italy and head back to Athena again is there a problem by renting a car and Crossing border I'm from Canada 🇨🇦 going first time to Europe I heard you cannot cross border by rental car according to booking and Expedia . Play if this is not true if you can send me a website for rental .
I'm sorry. I do not know the answer to that question. I have never tried to cross borders with a rental car. If it was me, I would rent in one country, then turn in my rental car. Then I would train or fly to another country.
I hope to be there this November 2024
You will love it. Get up early and go for a walk in the country. Make the drive to Pienza, Monticchielo, and Montefolonico, all not too far away. Have a good trip
How about adding place names where you've put chapter numbers?
I will try to figure out how to do that. Good advice.
Lovely places.I am from Sicily,I love these quiet ,green places.Thanks. E
❤❤❤❤❤
Nice video! Greetings from Autun
Really depressing
What a great video. I prefer the small towns, but you’ve captured Paris like she deserves. The music was perfect!
Thanks Steve. Have you been there?
@@lemonsandlavender Ufortunately, I haven’t been to France at all. Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, yes. But I’ve watched travel shows and CZcams for decades and felt your video with the editing and the music was among the best. Granted, there are many that take us inside museums and stuff, but I’m more interested in the everyday life and back alleys. Real Paris. Real France. Maybe one day I will make it there. But my heart lies down south. So much charm there! Your videos of those areas outside Paris are the ones I get excited over.
I hope you are having a good time! Your content is fantastic, but here are some problems. Your SEO score is very weak (10% out of 100) and you need optimization for better results. *That’s why your video is not reaching more and more people. As the views increase, so will the benefit. I think your CZcams channel will make your dream come true.* I'm a certified CZcams SEO expert with a passion for optimizing and a CZcams channel manager. Can I help promote your channel?

All beautiful. In small part thanks to your caring videography and in large part thanks to the majesty that France presents in any direction you gaze. Next time I am in St George, I will try to connect; it would be fun to compare France travels notes over a drink. Or two. Bonnes vacances!
I appreciate your kind remarks
It is full of wonderful places here in Marche! And good air, landscapes, food and wine. Gubbio is in Umbria
Predivno, hvala!
nice but i found some problem in your channel
What sort of problem?
your video SEO score low@@lemonsandlavender
Lovely video, when is best time to see lavender still in fields?
I hear the 3rd week in July is best up to the first week in August. We have missed them every year. Sad.
Lovely video thanks for sharing ❤
Glad you like them, Charlie
You’re right. That place is so French (pronounced Sault French)!!!
I always look forward to your comments.
Lunch looks nice. Thanks for sharing 👍..
Thanks Charlie
Yay! I was the first one to like and comment. Time to buy a lottery ticket! What a lovely little town. Most won’t film these. But I was imagining sitting on the bench in the shade with you two eating that 4-star lunch and looking at the 5-star view and thinking I should that you both for taking us to this slice of paradise!!!
…thank you both for taking us to this slice of paradise!
These little towns make all the difference. Such beautiful things to see and no one around.
We’ve missed your adventures!
That's nice of you to say
Great video thanks for sharing 👍.
I appreciate your kind words
Hi Michael, found your videos by accident but I love them so much :) I'm taking my mom to Tuscany in October but she's a bit worried about walking uphill too much. I already know we probably won't be going to Montepulciano based on your video but Pienza is a must. Any other flat town recommendations for us? 😅
Pienza is the best by far, and one of my favorite towns. Montepulciano has a tourist train that starts at the bottom on the north end, so you can use that. Not a lot of flat towns. Castigliano del Lago is okay. Cortona is easy to get to the two main piazzas, after that it's all up hill. Drive to Piazza Garibaldi, drop her off, go park, and walk back about 10 minutes. That way she can see the two best piazzas in Cortona, Repubblica and Signorelli. Siena isn't bad. Try San Gusme in Chianti, one hour from Pienza.
Couple more. Go to Bolsena, about 45 mins south of Pienza. Flat and by a lake. Beautiful. Also if she is up for a walk, Civita is there, an amazing town. Then Look at Orvieto, not far from Bolsena. I've never been there but I hear it's flat once you get up to the town. And there are escalators to get tourists to the top. Fun.
@@lemonsandlavender thank you so much! :)
Such beautiful scenery ❣️🥰💕
Alors la france, bons souvenirs? Where are you from?
Utah in the U.S. But we love to be in France.
Beautiful video thanks for sharing 👍.
lmao you was in the best butchers in italy restarant and you didnt eat lmao only in the USA
Nice shirt. 😁👍 And good tour! As one from St. George, Utah it's great to see a video showing one of beautiful areas (somewhat 😉) nearby the city.
Thank you sir. Pine valley is a gem isn't it? And that goes for most of Southern Utah. We are lucky.
I love Beaune! My sister lived there a couple of years go. Loved the Hospice visit,(so much history!) The open air market day was special treat, and walking the ramparts felt like living in an other time. I like your photo of the yellow 2CV special, (convertible too, quel luxe!) I once drove one, (my mother's,) as teen, I loved my little "Deuche" (short for Deux Chevaux, or 2 Horses in English.) I really enjoyed your video, it has a nice leisurely, unhurried feel, much like real visit to this beautiful region.😍😍😍
There are many places I want to visit myself, thank you !
Hello Michael. What a great video and so many interesting things to do and visit. I was wondering if you could please share the name of the place you stayed? Thank you

Beautiful series on Le Marche. Planning to spend a month in this region in 2024!
Honestly we barely scratched the surface. There are so many towns. I wish we had had time to do more around Corinaldo and south. Check it out.
@@lemonsandlavender Merry Christmas 🎄! How was the driving in the region? Any other tips/suggestions?
Driving is really pleasant, not much traffic. Wonderful region. Very relaxing. Real Italy. You'll love it. Tip? Well, look at the towns in the area of your rental, the distance to each. Kind of have an idea of where you want to see before you go. I like to stay within an hour from my home base. I'll occasionally break that to go somewhere special, San Mario for example. Having said that, I will sometimes drive to a town on a whim. Seen some really great towns that I would have missed if I stuck to my research. Have fun.
@@danwheeler2496 The drive was nice. Other tips? We loved renting a farm house. We have a video on the farmhouse, check it out. Nice to be out of town and quiet. Beautiful views. Good Italian country living. Only thing is it can be hard to find the first time you go there. After that of course, no prob. Have fun.
most of these "small" towns appeared to be more like ghost towns -- empty buildings, empty squares, empty tables. Did you visit at "off" times (e.g., early morning) or were they mostly dying towns with few residents left?
Corinaldo is beautiful. Thanks for the video 😎.
Painful. Get to the point . Couldn’t watch
It's called ADHD. They have meds.
Chris your impatient..you need a vacation to unwind, but because your wound up I know you will not like Chacala.
Looks gorgeous
Marche wonderful region. Have you ever been in the coast?
No we didn't go. Maybe next time
I like this interesting video! I was in Bonnieux only once (1991) but always remember the town as one of my favorites in France. That one distance view is a fascinating pleasure to experience in person.
It may have been a while but at least you got to visit Bonnieux. Such a nice town. Thx for watching
Have a friend Living there❤❤😂
Will you go to Macon?
No, it's a long drive from Beaune and we just like to stick around near our homebase. Someday We'll see it tho
Dear, could you share the name of the farmhouse near Pergola you rented ? Thank you
Yes, search Casa Collinetta on VRBO in Pergola. The owners are German and so nice. Great place. You will love it. On the VRBO map, look south and west of Pergola. If you can't find it email me at bc1@cut.net and I will send you a link.
Thank you for sharing beautiful video. We are going to stay there for a month in October. Video really helps.
Glad you enjoyed it. You'll love Pienza.
My grandparents Santo and Maria were born in Monte Gallo after their grandparents moved there from Sicily after the great earthquake hit Sicily in the 1600’s . I visited my cousins there and when I saw this film I cried and cried, I should never left them, I should have never left them ! Le Marche is so beautiful ! Thank you for this beautiful film ! Graze Mille : Pasquale Ventura
That is wonderful to hear. Glad you enjoyed the video. Le Marche is truly amazing
