In 1st year sharing room(2 or max 3 person) and in 2nd year single room only.

how was the placement in thermal power engineering and what's the library timing ?
Placement for thermal was really good, very good companies came and recruited. Library timings are 9am -9pm M to F, 9am-5pm S S.

Sir, I'm having two offers after GATE, one is IIT Gandhinagar and one is NIT Trichy, I was thinking of going to NIT Trichy for it's placements but seeing such conditions of rooms I'm inclined towards Gandhinagar. What should I do?
It depends on your priorities, if you're priority is to get a placement then you'll get a whole lot of opportunities in NIT trichy. Rooms are not that bad, this is single room for second year students, this time new student may get a newly construted hostel.

Yes , every room have wall mounted fans. They are enough if room is on ground floor or 1st floor but not for 2nd floor.
