ever since Anomaly released I've just sent my ghouls to deal with the infestations and it works surprisingly well (provided you enhance the ghouls with implants/xenogenes, etc.) I love ghouls so much tbh So useful

At ~9:00 where the containment chambers shifted in value, it did that because containment strength is modified by the CURRENT HP of the door/walls, not the TOTAL HP, and the toughspike that escaped had beaten on the door to lower its HP. Also, I know itd be a giant pain to redo your containment chamber, but I really recommend using 6x6 squares if you want to have individual containment cells. The size youre currently using doesnt let you utilize the electric inhibitors at all, which give +10 containment per device. Also, the single square shard inhibitors give +20, and you have some extra shards, so those would be good to start building, too. Lastly, all of the containment furnishings work on multiple anomalies so it saves resources to house them like 2 per cell (larger cells, like 12x12 give or take) so you dont have to build so many individual harvesters, etc.

For future reference, I recommend exploring the flesh pits fully before digging out the dreadmeld because they can have some really neat stuff in the flesh sac things.

Just an FYI, when dealing with the Golden Cube, I recommend anesthetizing all of the obsessed colonists prior to doing so. It nullifies the mental break :)
