    Thanks for this info Mr. BZB! All my home theatre equipment (AVR, speaker layout of 5.1.4 and 4K blue-ray player) can play Dolby Atmos tracks. However, my Sony TV only has ARC, and not eARC. Is dolby Atmos passing through just the same with the ARC only feature on my TV?

    • @BZBTVchannel
      @BZBTVchannel Před 16 dny

      Good question. Dolby Atmos can pass through the standard ARC, but with limitations compared to eARC. With eARC, you get full support for the latest high-bitrate audio formats, including Dolby Atmos in its truest form (Dolby TrueHD codec). eARC can handle larger amounts of data, which means it can transmit uncompressed audio formats that provide the best sound quality. Standard ARC can support Dolby Atmos too, but not in its lossless format (Dolby TrueHD). Instead, Atmos over ARC is delivered through lossy Dolby Digital Plus. This is still a very good surround sound format, but it compresses the audio to pass it over the ARC's bandwidth limitations. Hope this helps and thanks for your question.

    @wowpeter Před 27 dny

    NDI also support sync via PTP. It is just that it is only support via Advance SDK which require licensing and pay a royalty to NDI / Vizrt. So technically speaking, NDI video can also be sync just that a lot of the lower cost solutions out there does not implement the Sync feature. As for Dante AV-H, although it is claim to be a software based solutions, that's not entirely true at the moment. There are no official SDK that software developer can design software that can directly output Dante AV. Dante AV-H is still very much targetting hardware OEM who can use DanteAV-H to rewrite new firmware or software for their SOC to output Dante to allow wider adoption. THis is similar to NDI HX1, 2 and 3 which uses H264 and 265 codec. However, with Dante AV-H, you lose the common time clock and sync feature. Where as with NDI, if software developer or hardware developer who want to support it, they can have PTP Sync incorporated even with NDI HX 1/2/3. Dante AV for Video will only ever be good for the old school AV professional who like plug and play setup. But anything that are using software solutions to create shows (Pixera, Watchout, Disguise, vMix, OBS, etc etc), any of these people will never gonna be able to use Dante AV because there are simple no software layer to allow directly input and output from a computer into their media system. In the future, someone might make a PCI-E Dante AV capture card and you can use that to feed Dante video into media solutions, but then you are going back into the world of video capture back into some kind of UVC driver [absolute madness if that were to happen]. (note: I am sure Dante is full capable to offer an SDK, but this fundamentally goes against their business model, which is to sell you their chipset to manufactures who makes their hardware). So in todays world where everything is going the direction of software define architecture. NDI is the way to go really. Dante as a solution although will be easier to use for those who are not software savve, but the Dante AV solution are limited by Audinate business model.

    • @BZBTVchannel

      Yes its called a 1x2 or 2x1 (depending on the tv layout). Your content will need to be customized to fit across the 2 screens since it is no longer in a 16:9 ratio.

    What if I have 4 smart tvs, instead of 3rd party device like roku switch, blue ray etc. Hiw would that work or would I need 3rd party device.

      Would I need a 5th smart TV to us as the input?

    • @BZBTVchannel
      @BZBTVchannel Před 29 dny

      Setting up a 2x2 video wall using four smart TVs can certainly work, even without the need for additional third-party devices like Roku. The main component is the video wall processor like the unit in this video. Even though you're using smart TVs, they're primarily acting as monitors; they will display part of the overall image from the processor. The smart functionality of the TVs (like using apps or streaming directly from the Internet) will generally be unused unless you switch the input source to the TV's built-in smart platform. This can be useful if, at times, you want each screen to display content independently from its smart capabilities. Hope this helps and visit bzbgear.com if you need any help picking out a video wall processor or just need extra support for your setup.

    • @BZBTVchannel
      @BZBTVchannel Před měsícem

      Thanks for your question. BZBGEAR offers various scaling solutions, but the specific function of scaling a 720p signal to 768p by merely adding a border rather than stretching or scaling the image is specialized. Unfortunately, we don't carry such a unit.

    what's the best side by side multiviewer which does NOT keep the aspect ratio correctly or zoom so that A / B 3D glasses can work on a 3D TV with Dual Play?

    • @BZBTVchannel
      @BZBTVchannel Před měsícem

      Finding a side-by-side multiviewer that does not preserve aspect ratio or zoom might be challenging because most modern multiviewers are designed to maintain the integrity of the aspect ratio for a better viewing experience. However, a 3D TV using Dual Play tech, you'll need one that can display two separate full-screen images side by side.

    My tv is 4k if i use cable hdmi 2.1 is more better image then 2.0 or is ok i use 2.0

    • @BZBTVchannel
      @BZBTVchannel Před měsícem

      Using an HDMI 2.1 cable with a 4K TV can offer some benefits over an HDMI 2.0 cable, but both are capable of handling 4K resolution. Key dif you'll get with an. HDMI 2.1 cable is higher bandwidth (48Gbps), higher frame rate support like 4K@120Hz. Also, HDR, eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel), and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) for smoother gaming experiences. However, if your primary use case is watching regular 4K content at 60Hz and your current devices do not support HDMI 2.1 features, an HDMI 2.0 cable should be good for now. If you plan to upgrade your TV or other equipment in the future, or if you have devices that utilize HDMI 2.1 features (like gaming consoles), it might be worth using an HDMI 2.1 cable. Hope this helps! Thanks for your question.

      No. However, you can have multiple sets of BG-Air4Kast used at the same time and in the same area. Each set of transmitters and receivers must be set to a different channel after they have been manually paired to prevent interference.

    It seems like the 2.1 for PS5 makes no sense in a lot of cases. I wanted to get a 4K 32" for PS5 and the exclusives that inevitably come out for it. With HDMI 2.1 it costs more than the system. Without it, it's cheaper than the system and makes a helluva lot more sense. Many games I understand don't even support 4K 120Hz anyway so you're paying for something now you can't use until years down the line.

      @BZBTVchannel Před 2 měsíci

      For reference, HDMI 2.1 is more than just 4k at 120Hz, that being said certain titles like COD Black Ops Cold War or Destiny 2 will run at an upscaled 4k in 120Hz on consoles. You're also gaining variable refresh rate support, auto low latency mode as well as dynamic HDR. If you happen to game on PC 4k native at 120Hz is definitely within reach and more common depending on what components you have. In the long run, it doesn't hurt to future proof as technology is advancing fairly quickly. I hope this cleared up a couple things! - Matt

    What if one of my source is disney+ on 2 displays in different rooms, would i be able to change the shows based on what display im using. Lets say on disney+ display 1 is showing cartoons and display 2 is showing a movie. Is that possible?

    • @BZBTVchannel
      @BZBTVchannel Před 2 měsíci

      You'll need two display+ sources connected to the matrix to do this.

    I’m not a gamer but I am curious to get a tv that has the HDMI 2.1 so I can see how the quality of my Panasonic dvd player would look like with a good quality HDMI 2.1 cable

    • @BZBTVchannel
      @BZBTVchannel Před 3 měsíci

      it depends on what your panasonic DVD player supports. The cable or TV won't improve the quality of your DVD player.

    So use a cat cable to run through room and then a cat to hdmi converter to plug them in?

    • @BZBTVchannel
      @BZBTVchannel Před 3 měsíci

      yes, this is typically the best way to extend an HDMI signal a long distance.

    It has 1 sec lag , I wouldn’t recommend this for video games. And you don’t see the lag because you are using the joysticks. Great device for cutting the cord off if the source is in same location. Tnx for sharing ✌️
