Every year, me and my sister go back to playing Mercenaries on this game again for a few weeks and trying to get 150 combo on every level and we barely lose combos now. We've been doing this since around 2010. Still love playing this game. :)

Nostalgic Vibes

If I could make a reboot, it would start with a film about Master Splinter. Japanese Americans Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Nagi would form the Foot Clan in New York, a gang trained in the art of ninjutsu, who act as a gang of vigilantes akin to Robin Hood. Eventually Nagi grows ambitious and ousts Yoshi from the group, turning the group into a horrific gang that deals in drugs, extortion, theft, human trafficking, and assassinations. Yoshi eventually tries to stop Nagi during a heist into a TCRI laboratory, an attempt that fails; resulting in Yoshi getting doused heavily in an experimental mutagen. Fleeing to the sewers, Yoshi would gradually transform into an anthropomorphic rat; but would maintain his intelligence and skills in martial arts. Using his new gifts, and desiring to atone for the monster he helped create, Yoshi wages a one-rat war on the Foot Clan. For added fun, Yoshi would masterfully use a pair of Ninjatō swords, a pair of nunchaku, a bō staff, and a pair of sai; in his crusade against the Foot. Yoshi eventually fights Nagi to the death, and then flees into the sewers, seeing his transformation as a punishment. Word reaches Nagi’s younger brother, Oroku Saki, who vows to rebuild the Foot Clan and avenge his brother; he then starts eyeing a bladed helmet and gauntlets. Elswehere, Yoshi would stumble onto four infant turtles crawling around in the same mutagen that transformed him. One turtle looks up and speaks to Yoshi, saying “Daddy?”

The new "film" should have been based around these four unique badasses 1. A muscular tech genius 2. A wheelchair bound athlete 3. A sarcastic punk 4. A goth chick

Mgs2's soundtrack was SOOOO ahead of it's time it's so good!

First heard this during the level where you play as mgs1 suit snake trying to stop meryl from becoming a terrorist. It really set the mood for wanting to get the good ending and find out why she's defecting

There’s always that one scientist at the start of the game that calls to you from behind some boxes. I always shoot that guy by accident. You’re never supposed to sneak up on someone carrying a gun. That’s on him. All the rest of the deaths are on me, though. Oops.

I only recently found out about this mode while playing re5 with a friend, our midnight weaker and Rebecca combo feels unstoppable
