I remember hearing these guys for the first time and being really impressed by Steve Lynch, their guitar player. I asked my buddy, who is this Steve Lynch guy, he’s really good. My buddy’s like, he’s obviously George Lynch’s brother 😂😂.

My first time seeing Metal Church live was when they opened for Metallica on the Master of Puppets tour, in Nurnberg Germany. Been a fan ever since. The true metal of the 80's isn't about the big hair and glam crap in LA. Hardcore fans remember the music that came out of the Bay Area of SF. Bands like Slayer, Exodus, Testament, Megadeth, Metal Church and Metallica were just a few of the pioneers of today's metal. Never forget your roots. Embrace the pioneers.
