I woke up very early with this song in my head and I hadn’t thought of it in years so I came to You Tube to find it again. Songs really can trigger memories of times long past. I really enjoyed listening to this song on the radio while cruising town in the late 1970’s. I had just lost my grandfather and the typical late teen stuff was going on so I really related to the lyrics at the time...and in a different way now, I still do. I loved the vocals and 12-string. Now a grandfather of 4, I look back and appreciate how good musically things were in those days.

This is so beautiful. It's a fun song to sing....lots of soul in those vocals. Great instrumentation as well. This is when journey was in the pocket.
