The “love self to love others ” heuristic was wonderful exposed. If anything one could argue the only way to truly love yourself, may be to love another. Once you are capable of feeling that profoundly for someone, would that not open you up to even more enriching emotional experiences? And furthermore, couldn’t seeing yourself through someone else eyes, their admiration and deep love for you, improve the way you see yourself?

I have NOT read the book. Having said that, I DO feel it's failing to mention your environment. Here in the US the people is both petty and envious. It's worse to win sometimes because you end up committing more energy to fight off the envious people than in whatever achievement you got. Just to give an example, I recently had to get TWO federal licenses that the place I work at needed to function, otherwise they would need to shut down. And these licenses where not even in the area I work at, but the owner asked me because he was desperate and the people in those areas couldnt get them. I did them, they were easy (FOR ME), and they raised my salary because now I had those licenses. Since then, the people from the those other areas just hate me, they have been giving me so much hell it's uncanny! I'm about to quit just not to be fighting these people all the time! The environment you are in makes a BIG difference as they could drain whatever success you achieve!

It is a bold title. "Everyone can do it", then it must be sure that actual everyone can do it. How about the deaf, the blind, the people that are homeless and without an education, people that have literal nothing. People that are debt, people that have mental issue, people that have cancer...... Edit: Adding to my point, he was a millionaire. He had access to knowledge, healthcare, education, good family. Yet, he couldn't even make pass the 100k$. What makes you think you can do it?

This is an amazing video! I'm... just not too sure how I could make a career out of obsessively playing Modern Tetris. Perhaps I could do content creation, but would only want to start doing that after learning how to edit videos. I'm afraid that editing my gameplay may one day lead me to burn out. What makes me believe that this is my true passion however, is that I've been playing obsessively for four years now, and have never gotten tired of playing and constantly improving!

If you actually detoxed from dopamine, you would have developed parkinsonism. Dopamine makes up the majority of neurotransmitters within the brain without them your whole body fails.

My Dad is 76 and i can see old age is starting to get to him. He needs my help and assistance. My biggest fear is that my own children someday might not be able to take care of me. I want them to live their life without the stress of taking care of elderly parents.
