This is an amazing vehicle for the MFB, er FRV, Fire Rescue Victoria.
I want to become a rescue technician (rope, high angle, etc.) but not necessarily a firefighter. Is that an option? I can't seem to find a program that focuses on rescue alone.

The MFB has an impressive range of appliances, however I did not see any provision for recharging the compressed air BA cylinders at the fire ground. I know you had a compressor and cascade system at Richmond FS 20 years ago, is this still in use?

mfb and cfa carrer staff deserve a pay rise, just today the police association anounced they want a 2.5% pay rise on top of the starting rate which is around $52,000. Police are good at what they do and so are the fire brigade, the gap needs to be filled. Help them by writing to the premier. Thankyou

Remember well when selected stations were involved in the pilot. One of them being my local - FS34. There is no doubt that having EMR has saved lives, even if it was controversial amongst crews from the start.
