Sorry to those that like this, but this has just made the star entry in my list of "worst Christmas songs, ever". The first four lines of the lyrics are: "Little Jesus, sweetly sleep, do not stir / We will lend you a coat of fur / We will rock You, rock You, rock You / We will rock You, rock You, rock You." If anything cried out more for this to be done not by Julie and the YA singers, ( who are good, sure ) but by a heavy metal band, I don't know what it could be.

He was so entertaining. Should have remained a big star throughout his life. That's a shame, but the public are so fickle. We still love him, though, and always will!!

Loved the tune, and it is one that you can sing and hum incessantly around the house--being a kid in the 60's, I'll never forget the Kent Cigarettes jingle using this tune. Of course, Bing is the best and the Young Americans are a great group to perform with.

I like how they've been thinking not just about token Blacks but also Asians back then. The today's version however, needs artificial sexes, I'm fearing!? Anyway, this is scarier than Body Snatchers and Village of the Damned together. Now take your Mattels and your pills brave Murican boys and girls and give the world what it deserves, no not just war, hunger, nukes, Agent Orange and cluster bombs, but "Freedom and Democracy", which is (as we all know) the very same for most people on this planet!

How my heart skipped when he started "Singing in the rain"! Tiny Tim was a beautiful performer and such a singer there won't be anyone to match that. ❤
