Recorded by Steve VanEtten! Love that guy
So amazing ❤️
I was supposed to see them at the Neptune when I was bput 14 or 15 and the Neptune club got closed that week 😢
Anyway to get the exact lyrics? My buddy gave me this 7" when we were 15. I'm 42 and still love it.
What a great band. Their complete discography album, with the pale green cover, is in the same rarefied air as Op Ivy and Minor Threat’s discog albums- every damn song is killer, despite how short-lived each band was.
荒い!荒いのがむしろ良い!
ベース、指弾きだったんですね!学生の頃コピバンさせてもらいました!
Great song! wish it was on Spotify
October 1997
なら泣かすなよ!サイコーだよ!あの頃に戻りたい😢
青春だな😂
That's a terrible cover, great song though
Top!!
I really liked this when it came out, I still do. I also like the split they did with guttermouth.
thanks for shared...

Dry gnarky miscues, very cold night in NC,,it’s a talk to uou
Best shit ever::::::::how’s it feel?
I played the crap out of this during the hot-ass summer of 1994...was around this time I was pretty disillusioned with the scene and thinking that maybe it was a good time to leave the punk community.
Omg thanks so much! Finally I found their another album

Pyjama Song 0:00 Here’s how my day’s wardrobe is arranged: Go to sleep, wake up, don’t change “A six year old who’s always tired is unusual for his age.” Everyone fooled by my disguise, by my sleepy little eyes You'd never guess it by my lunch kit - I'm a spy And I know the dark is nothing to be scared of, but I'm afraid to fall asleep, for fear I'll sleep forever And miss the joy of waking up in my jammies Didn’t they ever tell you what you can and cannot touch? When a commie was a commie, everyone knew that much Tomorrow I’ll bomb the C.I.A. and learn to tie my shoes in the same day Or bring a gun to show-and-tell and see who they call lazy The fine line between caviar and kool-aid Not asleep, not awake... Not dreaming about a girl who’s always in a hurry My rusty bike offers no means of escape Maybe someday we’ll fall asleep together But I'm afraid to fall asleep... Mayonnaise 1:42 I've got a safe suburban extension And a stomach full of mayonnaise I’m going to let it hang out today Nothing to hide but if I want to join the new front line Will you doubt my sincerity? No I don’t have a mohawk, But I think we share the same old hatred same goal And most of all, our threat is uglier With a unity beyond status symbols And bitching about each other’s shortcomings Ego over substance, And where you’ve been is where you’re stuck? When our stuckest need is now our progress Our guns are small Our guns are non-existent A hopeless resistance Our ability to fuck each other up too refined So I'm drowning in my pessimism shitter again The water’s warm, but you won’t swim there If optimism breeds hope then maybe, Skepticism won’t free my balls at all They say a cancer traced early enough can be cured So fuck the revolution Our silence will preserve its bite Our threat is uglier with a unity beyond who’s cool, who’s not Integrity won’t wash off in a shower Doubt it 3:21 Calls for revolution resonate and then dissolve... As words will tend to, faced with the actions they involve Once we’ve swallowed all the rhetoric, we’re no better off for it Not as long as this side stands divided will theirs fall If it gets too cold, we’ll shiver, because there’s no cooperation here at all And there on the freezing street, arm in arm, Mother Earth and Father Time will smile and simply pass us by, Knowing we’re too busy being human to look up from watching each other dying Pillbug arena 4:55 Mainstream Amerika is a game show - every contestant gets a blindfold and a gun - sixshooter with a free brainwash Saddle up! You know the rules: to gun down the first aggressive mutant you see make room for error, at first you’ll make a few - the rat! Bell sounds, marks the bonus round-bind the passive get theirs too, You say you’re still not happy? Well at lest you get to play, Insert another dime for imagination - control to fascinate Without versatility you’re just another non-essential so how can I concentrate in your sterile kingdom? Pig with a conscience - this field is not your field But a salesman seemed too obvious And I bet you my dog you’re a wife beater (her rejection hurt so bad!) Lester works an honest day in cashtown The handsomest “true punk” in the city Career girl passing her friendliest smile And he can only spit, doesn't’ see the beltmarks on her back Only a cold mundane pathetic life of racquetball and cognac Her corporate daddy’s masterpiece With no originality we’re too vulnerable How can I masturbate to your plastic image? Princess of television My mind is not my mind don’t try to break my concentration When I'm fastened to my infomercials Jaywalker 7:03 Where is the freedom when my only choice is melt or be devoured by a world that has become a hazard to my health? I don’t remember saying “Okay, I’ll stay in a place where law enforced inertia wears my dreams away.” You built it Something about each day confirms my doubts I want out The rules around this place where nothing is left unowned say a man’s not allowed to cross the street he’s forced to call his home I don’t remember saying “alright, I'll fight.” But the authority-superiority myth has become hard to take in stride Your world let me down. Where have the hopes I once held onto gone now? Today our only safe haven is a hole under the ground But I must never turn my back I will not turn around Lyrics sheet etc. -> imgur.com/gallery/xu2aXFS
Maybe their best song overall: got the classic oblivion speedcore tempo, Brian's drumming and the fills and swung accents are perfect as ever, great harmonies from Scott and the guitar solo breaks the song open as well as any Oblivion solo, and Pete's vocal growel and driving bass are in full effect. The structure also seems to work a little better than some of their other best songs; the long first chord drives things forward and then the quick major-minor shifts after that keep that momentum dynamic (and man the one/first beat hits hard every time). Unlike say Mauryland or Fear of China, this song keeps that same structure and builds it up through the tempo changes and breakdowns (and the solo too), which lets the song stay on the same tone and trajectory the whole time. Whole thing feels like frustration and snark looking for catharsis, and I love that it takes its time getting there.
懐かしい・・・。自分からしたら20年も経つのか・・・。やっぱこの頃のバンドはいいな。ありがとうございます!!!
あれ?この時はタケムラさんじゃなかったのですか?😮
国宝級の映像かっ!
This shits def my jam, goes well with good whiskey ,a little herb and some resentment for my life choices
Landmine is right there with Anthem For A New Tomorrow. Completely shaped my worldview. Every time the latest charismatic populist yeller comes around and tries to justify war in the name of freedom or religion, my head and heart reverts to the meaning behind this music
WOW! Haven't heard 75% of these easily!
