I wish I knew about the “Y” saturation trim when I was flying rc helicopters, always worried about the “curve.” Thanks again.

the autohover works but it's refusing to control my yaw, so the moment i let go of my yaw controls the helicopter goes crazy

Anonometer is for wind direction. Useful for heavy load/ high alt approach.

I think---- It is trying to compensate for yaw while on the ground initially. I'll be honest: I turn Yaw AP off while in takeoff and landing mode and just make sure she is in a good trim. But I have the Microswitch programmed on my HOTAS-now that I understand it, I will start using it more!!!!!

How do you set the trim. I have been using the torque. Is it setting- trim off on, trimmer, trimmer reset. I have the panel showing control. But not sure what command is needed to lock the trim. Also using a twist stick. I don't think that is a good idea at all too!

The L model is the only one allowed on Enigmas Server , can you auto slave the Gazelle with the periscope sight to target or do you have to do it manually?

I went back to the Hind (and DCS in general) after a more than half year break and this really helped me because the Hind made me crazy with the Auto-Pedals. I knew there was some option but rather than trying various settings I found this video! Thanks!

Post 22 Feb update: I think auto hover when active (CVS green) over compensates in trying to maintain position and self induces oscillation. You can seen the CVS and ALV lights go funky between green and amber. It eventually oscillates the aircraft out of hover criteria. Coupled with auto slave that is also WIP and you could find the Gazelle upside down. Probably better off not using these modes for the time being as they are more unreliable than performing a manual hover and heading alignment. Also, the stick’s autopilot button is a toggle that is required to put the auto hover and auto slave in a ‘ready’ state to go green from amber whenever within auto hover criteria. (AP altitude and AP speed are not working as far as I can tell.)

problem with enigma server and maybe all dcs servers not sure, all units are static which makes for dull immersion. This is where warthunder shines with everything moving with animation over DCS mp

I try this, no mater how careful I am, as soon as it starts to tilt right, it goes right, even if I correct with cyclic left, or if I pull really hard left, then it just tilts right

CVS won't turn green no matter what... master switch on (so are the 3 switches to the right), my ground speed is perfect (2 knots), vertical speed null and the needles on the ADI are crossed, is it bugged right now?

Do you still use rudder when you activate slave mode

You can have chatter for any mission. If you have voice attack you can get sound files of chatter to loop. I can't play without it. They have Nato, Red Flag, WW2, Navy and other chatter packs.

Just wish the cannon had less recoil. Jumps right off target so you don't get as many hits compared to the GAU.

The default button for the parachute is P. Downside is you need to repair the aircraft to get it back instead of just reload, which I guess makes sense. I don't know if that's standard for aircraft with a drag chute.
