Song structure and progression, backing vocals, effects on the voice, bass line (especially on the last chorus - listen carefully to bass - it's awesome!) - everything is so cool in this song. It's sad that Noosha haven't officially release it. This demo is a bit overcompressed and needs proper mix. Genius song.

Great song and a decent version but I humbly submit that the original version with Linda and Richard Thompson is unmatched.

I was 15 when this came out and loved this record. Life before the internet and smartphones [not basic mobile phones] was so much more enjoyable. People used to talk to one another , supermarkets had staff to actually serve you at the checkout and you didn't have to sort all of the services that you pay for out yourself via apps on your smartphone. I'd better get on and finish building that time capsule !!

Saw them once in Auckland (likely early 70's) and I think it was in the Farmers store [well, it was around 55 years ago when I was about 14, so please forgive my appalling memory!) Didn't realise they were a homegrown group, as was the singer John Rowles - I think in those days NZ tended to hide its light under a bushell.

Supported Keith and his band mid-seventies in Bundy and Maryborough on their QLD leg of their tour. My band supplied its own PA and I was having difficulty with the graphics at the sound check. I asked a roadie for help and he obliged, only to find out later it was Keith. No ego there, just a genuine friendly guy! A few years later after moving to Sydney to break into the “big time”, I met him at Glebe and he rented me a house ($30 a week in Balmain). I wish him the best, love ya mate!❤️
