Though this is 4 years old the picture quality is good. I moved to a town house and noticing some of the vents don't flow as much I started looking down in them and found stuff. It would be interesting to get one of those cameras and see what is in them. I just know the AC coils will need cleaned. This place had no one in it for 2 years aside from maybe the previous owner checking up on it to make sure nothing has gone wrong. Depending on what I find I may need to try to hook it and pull it out. I already found a bag that had cookies in it down one and a piece of insulation and some nails in another. It is obvious to me now that whoever built this place focused on speed and they just swept the floor debris down the vents thinking no one would find it. Well I did. I am not overly upset as long as it won't cost me a fortune to fix their negligence but it is still disgusting. I wish I knew a wood worker to get to bring his dust collector over and hook it to the vents one by one and see what it pulls out. A dust collector is like a shop vac but much more powerful and even has a larger hose and are designed to pull a TON more air flow than any regular vacuum can! I may get one of those cameras you have. I am only looking at reviews because many of these are Chinese generic junk and thus a waste of money. It would be nice to get something that can take photos too so I can show the neighbors. Next thing you know they will want to borrow the camera and look inside their disgusting vents. Maybe they have a similar problem where the airflow is not so strong on the second floor too! I hope when I snake a camera down in there I find some money (we can all dream).

Did you test them with a small load to get a current flowing? Because the open circuit voltage of a Battery, is no good indicator of its charging level, can be misleading.

This has to be a misprint, Duraleak's always leak after 1 - 2 years

What voltage remained? Even Duracell posts an expiration date on each battery.

Check out duracell’s ad from the same period. They mention that it runs and lasts and lasts

I have some 2004 Duracell d cells that were in a flashlight that are at 1.4

even if they are not in perfectly changed condition, just recharge it, do it with all batteries regardless if rechargeable or not

That's impressive. I've had batteries that were just a few months old in a scale. One week the scale worked, next week it didn't. When I opened it up to replace the batteries they had started leaking

That's 100% on the circuit design. Batteries only leak if the circuit is continuously pulling power out.

Can’t believe this! One time i bought some Duracell triple-A batteries in Denmark, and they were leaking out if the box! Steered very clear from anything Duracell ever since.

I have been using it for over six months, and it is such a handy tool to have on the workbench. To measure low values accurately, I wipe the tips and run the calibration and thereafter the reading gets more accurate.

Also a testament to the device design. A lot of modern electronics kill batteries when not in use.

I’ve never had an issue with charged/mostly charged batteries leaking, it’s always the close to dead ones that start leaking

Duracell has always had the best AA Batteries 😂 They last forever on Tv temotes.

Running the iron that hot will oxidize and age the tips a lot faster, also you should wrap the tip with solder wire when you're turning on a new iron for the first time.

Thanks for the review. I bought the pump at a yard sale and needed the info you provided. I would put the mat under the pump for noise vibration reduction, but it probably is a non stick mat for resin. Seems it would be round like the chamber, though.

Why do you people have to state these are NOT variacs but auto transformers? They are auto transformers but they are variable, hence the name variac as in variable. Do you people still call motor vehicles preambulators? If not why not? So in conclusion, people that boast how clever they are by stating these are NOT variacs are clearly showing how dense they really are! VARIABLE ALTERNATING CURRENT! IT'S A TRANSFORMER WHICH CAN BE VARIATED!

Hello. I printed the same thing in the 4 corners of the bed, and only 2 of them were sucefull, the other 2 didn't sticked well. This could be for a bad nivelation? Or is that part of the bed that always have a bad stick level?

Amazon quality never fails to disappoint. Meanwhile I'm currently using a variac originally purchased and used by my dad in the early 60's and it still works flawlessly over the entire range.

Whenever I try this, with any audio input/output setting, all I get is buzzing noises, or strange modulated tones that sound like extra slowmo voice recordings. Probably something I'm doing wrong with my setup, but I just can't seem to figure it out. Any help?

I just acquired an interesting product It's a fan speed controller but it's basically a simplified cable transform it literally is just a metal box with a dial and a power input and a power output. The box is riveted together so there's no way to get inside it. Talk about a mystery box I think it's rated at 3 amp. It's amazing when they work because it works perfectly with really fine adjustment of voltage. I did have an old-fashioned berco, rated at 10:00 a.m. and you could feel the quality of that unit but it was actually rather unsafe, huge vent holes giving access to a live coil. I'm greatly impressed. I'm worried about my unit I need to test the earth but there's no other access and I would literally have to drill out about 8 rivets which I don't fancy doing since it's working but anyway. It was extra cheap cost £100
