    How did you find the bike when the traffic was really heavy? I commute in on Tiger XCX and I'm definitely not as nimble as other bikes but get through much better than I expected. Bit worried that I'll get completely stuck if I move up to the GSA especially round the more central parts.

      @natan69 Před 7 lety

      I used to commute from West Drayton - not any more though as I have moved out of London recently. For the last few months I have been commuting 90 miles one way pretty much every day. It is doable (especially on the GSA) but after a while you start to strongly wish you worked closer to home ;) Anyways, the GSA is more than capable of delivering an outstanding performance over long distances. I do not think there is a better bike you can do a daily commuting on :) Safe riding, mate.

    Thanks for posting. I wasn't sure if the gs would be too big in London. You made it look like a scooter. Well handled. So, I'm thinking of commuting from Swindon to London. 50 miles motorway rest in London. Is the gs ok on the motorway. Or are you revving the nuts off of it?

    • @natan69
      @natan69 Před 7 lety

      Thanks mate. For a while I was commuting to London from Peterborough which is around 90 miles one way :) No more though as I have found a job locally now. GS on a motorway? I must tell you there is no better bike for a motorway IMHO :) I used to ride a K1600 too, which should be better for motorways but somehow GSA beats even that. I cannot imagine commuting long distance on any other bike.

    You're taking too many risks, in my opinion. I used to drive a class 1 HGV and I drove panel vans for some time. Undertaking them as you did here is just asking from trouble. I commute on a motorcycle now by the way.

    Epic riding skills. Agree with previous comments but a great thrill watching that journey. Would love a GSA 1200 for weekend/casual riding...... just a bit put off by the bulk of them. Still my fave bike though :) Safe riding....

      +berniebgf Thanks for watching :) I must say this bike is the best I have ever ridden which helps in feeling confident while riding. It seems massive at first but once you get used to its weight, it becomes a part of you basically :)

  • @TheDervMan
    @TheDervMan Před 8 lety

    Some impressive bike control there, I guess you've had the GSA for quite a while given how naturally you throw it around? Do you have a quick shifter?

    • @natan69
      @natan69 Před 8 lety

      +DervMan thanks for watching :) Yes, I have been riding various GSAs for quite a while now and I find the bikes very comfortable and surprisingly agile even in heavy traffic. They are perfectly balanced with low center of gravity and this helps a lot once you get used to the bike's weight. No, I do not have a quick shifter - usually I just do upshifting without clutch.

    Yes, I did use that and as you can see the result is not bad at all. I have not tried reversing the footage to the original as yet so I am not sure if you'd need to upload again if not happy with the results. How is my lap time of 47.496 in comparison to other heavies on a DMAX ? I can see an improvement since my previous DMAX session but not quite sure how I can improve. Any advice ?

  • @natan69

    Ogólnie zasada jest taka, ze tzw. 'filtering' czyli jazda miedzy dwoma rzedami samochodów jest dozwolona z zachowaniem szczególnej ostronosci :) Nie powinno sie równiez jechac wtedy szybciej niz 20 mph od wyprzedzanych samochodów. Tyle teoria a w praktyce wszystko oczywiscie zalezy od warunków na drodze i od wlasnych mozliwosci i ilosci 'oleju' w glowie :) Jesli o chodzi o bus lane to trzeba zwracac uwage na znaki drogowe, ktore wyraznie informuja kto moze sie po danym bus lane jechac i kiedy.

  • @VictorSeedorsky
    @VictorSeedorsky Před 11 lety

    nie znam sie i stąd pytanie.. Czy w Anglii wolno tak slalomem pokonywać drogę szybkiego ruchu pomiędzy samochodami..? w Polsce o ile pamiętam jest to wykroczenie bo wyprzedzanie powinno mieć miejsce tylko pasem szybszym czyli wewnętrznym. Z przepisów angielskich też chyba wynika że można wyprzedzać pojazdy wolniejsze tylko pasem wewnętrznym prawym a nie obydwoma.. Więc czy to dozwolone? nie czepiam się ale zacząłem przygode (zdane CBT) i mam troche wątpliwości.. Np kiedy można jeździć buslanem?

    @Ashitaka255 comuting for me is easy, i own 2 bike jackets and trousers. one is larger so i can wear my work clothes under it. however, for a suit i wound get either a top box or panniers. i find panniers better, as a top box unbalances at slow speed. i own a suzuki dl650 in case you wonder,.

    @natan69 What is is like to commute in a motorbike? I was thinking of doing the same but how do you carry your stuff on a bike and how do you deal with having to wear bike jacket boots etc and having to wear your work clothes? How would I go about fitting a suit inside a leather jacket or carrying my suit wear once I get to work?

  • @natan69
    @natan69 Před 14 lety

    @ArGyProductions Thanks for the comments mate, as for your question let me put it this way - the commute was a nightmare for me when I was using my car but since I switched to motorcycle it has been a pleasure. As you can see in my video I commute to Kensington area and on my bike it has never taken longer than 25 minutes even in heavy traffic. With the car it was anything between 45 minutes to 1h15 minutes so the difference is considerable even without mentioning that no Ccharge has to be paid.
