Aqua White stonescapes at night.
Requested from a viewer on my other post . Some people wanted to know how many lights I had and how bright the pool was at night. Excuse the waterfall noise, we just got done swimming and forgot to turn it off when I recorded. We have three big lights, one in the deep end, one in the middle and one in the shallow end. A small light in the grotto and two bubbler lights. I wanted to make sure with the size of pool we had that I had a bright pool. Glad I added that extra big light and the two bubblers.

Updated video of pool during high sun. We did Stonescapes aqua white with abalone shell and Puerto Rico blend glass beads. I think in the video I said another name, but it's Puerto Rico blend.

Stonescapes Aqua white with glass beads and Abalone shells. I will upload a better video once we get the water treated and the true color comes through a little better. This was for a viewer that asked from another channel if I would post before Monday our pool. We just filled water last night so there is a tint of green in it that wasn't there yesterday. Adding chemicals today .

We will miss you everyday until we meet again.
Hi! Your pool is amazing!! Is it salt or chlorine water?
It looks beautiful! It seems to have a teal tint to it. Is that accurate to the eye, or is that just how it looks on video. We are deciding between aqua blue and aqua white. We are trying to avoid any green. Apart from the chemicals you mentioned, does this color ever venture into any green hues? Thank you!
How are you liking this now after a few years
love it!
Best looking pool at night with the lights I’ve ever seen in my life!!!!!!
Hi Angela, your post has been most informative - I am in the process of remodel of a 20+ year old pool - how has your finish held up over the years? I am in Arizona - heard a lot of different opinions on the abalone shell - how is yours holding up? any feedback would be greatly appreciated - I have watched all your videos (day and night) they have been most helpful - thanking you in advance.
The abalone shell have held up great and still look the same as day one, as well as plaster. The tiles are the only thing not holding up in the pool, and I wish I went with a different one to be more durable with kids. Let me know if you need anymore help and good luck with the remodel.
thanking you for your response - I have been forewarned about using glass tile especially the small, say, 1x1 inch, however, still going to use in a small area - thanking you again for your immediate response it has been very helpful@@angelarebollar3948
With the exception of the step liner tile this looks great!
IS IT AQUA WHITE MINI? THERE IS 5 of AQUA WHITE
Hi - thanks for this informative video. Now that it's been a couple of years, how is the finish/color holding up? Thank you.
Everything has held up very well! we are still very happy the pool. Color has remained vibrant and no issues other than our tiles which has started to pop off the spill over area on the hot tub
hi is your stone base white or blue? i am sorry. It is still confusing when i am looking at the NPT website. thank you again.
I have no idea, I believe blue, but we just picked the color and the builder did everything so I can't really say. The plaster came out blue tho and the stones in the plaster are blue as well. Hope that helps.
Hi I’m doing the aqua white . I’m debating on the abalone shells. Is it just the tanning ledges that you see it ? Or do you see the sparkles in the whole pool?
Sorry for the lat reply. When it is sunny we see it mostly in the shallow end and the shelf. Deep end they aren't as apparent
what is the name of the tiles you used?
Where is your waterline tile from? Thanks
Can I ask what size pool this is?
46ft length by 25ft width I believe
Looks amazing!!
Hi Angela, your pool is beautiful! I'm currently looking for a color that is the same as the deep end of your pool. However, my pool is only going to be 5ft deep. Can you share any tips based on your experience? We're currently on the fence with the NP Tropics Blue mini pebble with abalone shells.
I'm not sure I'm much help since this is this is the shade we were going for. It's so hard to pick colors with stonescapes because not many people post videos of the different colors. I wish I could help more but we were only between Aqua white and Aqua blue.
For the glass that you added, was it the Puerto Rico blend or Touch of Glass? If the PR blend, do you recall if large or small? Thanks!
sorry just now seeing this. It was Puerto Rico blend. Since the pool contractor threw them in for free I'm not sure of the size, but would guess small.
How long is your pool
46ft length by 25ft width I believe
How big is your pool

Did you add glass in that ??
we added the glass beads tp the plaster
@@angelarebollar3948 how much did that cost you ? My contractor is asking 1000 a bag He said we need two
@@sashasandeepverma5835 It was free from our contractor. He gifted us the beads because we got so much done in our yard. I believe he said $500 a bag
How many bags of abalone and Puerto Rico blend food you use?

Im not sure since the contractor did it for free for us as a gift
Where your glass beads mix in with the finish or did they hand cast them?
They did both. They mixed some and then tossed some on top while smoothing plaster
Beautiful pool! Can you tell me the size of your spa?
I'm not sure the size but I do know it's a standard size from what the pool guy said.
Thank you! This is what we are planning to use. What tile did you use? I love how it compliments the finish. Beautiful pool!
The tile is from mineral tile website, but I wouldn't recommend it. It seems to crack super easy and we have had so many crack in two years we have had it. Looks nice but not that durable.

Hello- jimmy who also has ur pool Color didn’t add glass beads. U did- do u feel it changed ur color compared to his?
I would say, not really. But I do love the glass beads and like how it breaks up the plaster color a bit.
Beautiful pool! And super helpful video. Can you tell me the tile you used?
We ended up getting tile from mineral tile website. I can't remember the name of the tile off hand though
www.mineraltiles.com/products/iridescent-glass-tile-ripple-ocean-blend-1-x-2?_pos=3&_sid=a85590b75&_ss=r
Just keep in mind these are glass tiles so they do crack pretty easily. We have found many of them cracked over the last two years, so we might have went with another tile if we knew this would happen so much.
@@angelarebollar3948 Thank you for that info!! Are they easy to replace? The glass looks so beautiful.
@@robinlenhardt2111 We haven't attempted it but I would say it would need to be completly redone to replace. It's sure beautiful but if I had to choose again I would have got something a little more durable.
Hi, what does it look like when it's cloudy or no sun through cloudy days or rainy days? Also getting this color for our pool soon!
It looks just duller and not as vibrant, but still beautiful
Beautiful! How bright does the pool light up at night?
It's pretty bright but we have three big lights and two small lights in the grotto
@@angelarebollar3948 do you happen to have any videos of the pool at night with the lights? We are also looking at Aqua White but the Puerto Rican blend and our design includes 1 large and 3 small colorlogic lights in the pool 1 large in spa plus two lighted bubblers. Thanks in advance.

Beautiful pool. Did you get the mini or the regular pepple size. We are currently in the process and I am having a hard time deciding. Thanks
we did the mini pebble. I didn't like the roughness of the bigger pebble. Sorry this is so late. Just now catching up on questions.
How long does this particular plaster last? It's beautiful by the way.
We are about to have this done to our pool and there is a 10 year warranty.
Thanks for the post. We were all set for aqua blue but my wife saw this and wants to change to aqua white. We have one week to decide and it's been such a tough choice. Your pool is awesome by the way. We love the design.
Just saw your reply. What did you end up going with? Both colors are beautiful for sure.
Thank you so much!
Thanks for posting! 🙏 I’m currently in the process if deciding whether I want to go with aqua white or aqua blue. 👍
Same here what'd you go with? Any pics?
Beautiful pool.
Thank you!
Angela your pool is absolutely stunning great choices you made. Can you please share the name of your tile, I am planing on picking mine from NPT Thanks
Thank you! We didn't go with NPT tile. We ended up getting tile from mineral tile.
I'm so so sorry this took so long to get back to you. Here is the tile we used www.mineraltiles.com/products/iridescent-glass-tile-ripple-ocean-blend-1-x-2?_pos=3&_sid=a85590b75&_ss=r
@@angelarebollar3948 no worries at all thank you for your response, we finally went for the glass tile royal bleue and it turned out fantastic ☺️
High Angela! Love your pool shape and color and grotto with slide area. You mentioned in a comment your pool tile wasn’t holding up. I see you used a mineral tile that I really like the color of. What about the tile isn’t holding up? Was it install related as to why it’s not holding up or is it quality of the tile that’s not making it hold up. How have they fixed your issues with the tile? Thanks so much!
Whats the name of the tile?

What are the dimensions of your pool?
46ft length by 25ft width I believe
Thank you so much Angela! Your pool overall is stunning! The water color is exactly what I'm looking for! We are building in SW Florida, & we chose the aqua white mini with the puerto rico blend glass beads. I really like the idea of the abalone shell, but I've heard mixed reviews on the longevity and/or discoloration over time. Also, I've had the hardest time finding any pics of the actual glass bead blend recipes online. And NPT has not been helpful at all. I can't even get them to send me an interior finish sample/swatch that we saw in a pool store.🤦♀️😫 So thank you again for taking the time to do this! It really helps!
You're welcome. We had the hardest time picking a color with NPT pools for the same reason. Not many good pictures online and not nearly enough videos of it. That is why I decided to post mine, in hopes it could help someone else. We haven't had any issues thus far with the abalone shells, but we have only had the pool for two years. Best of luck with your pool building. You'll love this color in person for sure
Gorgeous!!! What’s the length and width of this pool without the spa?
I can't remember off the top of my head. I can try and measure it tomorrow
My husband says it's 46ft length by 25ft width.
Do you think this video makes it look more vivid than in person?
Also, is it “regular” or “mini” pebble
Video is very true to what it looks like in person. I will be doing an updated video tomorrow for those that needed one. I did the mini pebble with glass beads added
I posted another video if that will help at all
Hi, would it be possible to do an update on a sunny day? Love the color!
I'll try to do one tomorrow. Sorry for the late reply, just saw this
i posted another video today of the pool for you
@@angelarebollar3948 thank you so much! I'll take a look now🙂
Beautiful pool! Thank you for posting.
Thanks for making this vid! Can you tell me if the steps/shallow end of your pool read more cool blue or more aqua in person? I have a large sun deck and a shallow pool so the finish color itself will be pretty prominent. Also, did you do a custom bead blend? I know you said Costa Rica, but all I am finding at NPT now is the Puerto Rico blend and not sure if those two are the same thing. I'm trying to decide between Aqua cool and Aqua white (probably, lol.) Thanks again!
It’s more Aqua blue for sure. I’m not sure about beads, our pool guys picked them out and told us it was Costa Rica. It’s dark blue beads, light blue beads together.
jacksonsixtyseven what did you go with? We think we are going with aqua white with Puerto Rico (3 bags) added, as well as abalone. I too had the same question about Costa Rica. NPT lists only Puerto Rico. Maybe that is what he meant:)
@@cassidymcintire7149 Our pool guys just brought the beads over for me to see haha. He said costa rica, but you very well could be right with Puerto rico blend?
I am going to choose the stone scapes aqua white mini pebble cause of your video. Thank you! Do you mind sharing what glass pool tile that's called? I really like that.
We got the glass tile from mineral tiles although we found it easily cracks so we wouldn’t recommend it. Glad I could help in some way with color choice. I found little to no help when I was choosing because there wasn’t very many videos
What tile did you end up using?
So sorry for the late response. I’m just now seeing this. I got the tiles from mineral tiles. Although we love our tile I wouldn’t recommend it since we have noticed a lot of cracking because it glass. Might be from how it was installed or from environmental exposer.
Angela, would you be able to post another short video that shows your pool water color now that the chemicals are stabilized? Thanks!
Hi! Sorry for the late reply. It’s basically the same color but more clear due to the chemicals.
Hi! So after it cleared up did it look more blue or aqua? Trying to decide on aqua white or aqua blue? I’m looking for a super blue color. Thanks 🙏
Hello! So sorry for the very late reply. I somehow didn’t get notified when people commented until today when someone left a message. I’m sure you already picked your color by now. I think if we had to do it again I might have went with aqua blue. Aqua white is beautiful but I was wanting a little extra blue.
Wow your pool looks awesome!!! Thank you so very much again for doing this for me!!!
Lee Lee Williams you’re so welcome! Sorry it’s not better quality, I wanted to make sure to get it to you before Monday, so I shot it on my phone. it’s a beautiful color for sure! You can’t go wrong with it! Everyone that stopped by to swim commented on how beautiful the color was. One friend said “reminds me of Costa Rica water”
Angela Rebollar I am getting the abalone shells as well. How much bags of the Costa Rica blend did you use? The quality is still good. If you don’t mind me asking was it much more to add both?
Lee Lee Williams the Costa Rica beads were free to us since our pool guy purchased them for a gift for us since he knew I really wanted them.....and we spent a butt load of money on the pool. I believe he said it was around $1,300 extra for the beads, 2 bags? I’m not sure the number of bags he used though? He didn’t add it to the mix, he just sprinkled them on top of the plaster. He did the same for the shells. I believe every pool builder will give a different cost for those beads or shells since they of course up charge to customer to make a profit. Our pool contractor is a smaller family owned business, so he is probably on the lower end of the cost per bag. I’m happy he did it though because I think aqua white would have been a little too light without the glass beads. If it wasn’t for the beads we would have done aqua blue. I do absolutely love the color we have though. We had a pool party yesterday and everyone kept telling me they loved the color
Lee Lee Williams oh and the shells were $2,000 extra. Not sure how many bags since he just said that was the price to cover our size pool. Our pool is 25 x 45 and about 45,000 gallons
Angela Rebollar Thank you so very much for all your help. I went with the aqua blue with abalone shells just because the puerto rico blend was way too much along with it. Your information made my decision easier. Thank you again!!
