I've been playing this game for around 2 years and i don't think I've ever "grinded" in this game. I just open the game, pick the material I'm lacking (which isn't much), clear my energy and sleep

funnily the grinding gets better the longer you play - well unless you spend money and have always too much to level and that is because it is technically* really well designed imo (like ik that the fact someone has to tell you how they probably intended this makes this already and like almost noone played the game like this but im writing this here for the people that are just starting out to to like rethink their strategies in a way that makes progression just more enjoyable) i think a lot of people might have already noticed how important archetypes are to the overall gameplay - another thing y’all might have noticed is how - increasing with the star rating an operator has they start to get an increasingly diverse and niche kit within their archetype -and upgrades get more expensive the way i see it (especially after having played a lot of integrated strategies) is that they originally intended to have two stars teach you about the basic archetype then once you develop a certain need for for more specific skillsets you naturally start moving on to 3-stars then 4 stars -about the time specialist get introduced with pushers and pullers- and on that basis you can basically already build an entire team to carry you trough a bunch of chapters giving you time to develop very specific needs and strategies moving you slowly into the 5star roster by the time you can finally afford it (6stars are then the powerhouse units you basically build your entire strategies around in late game) now ofc this being a gacha game destroys that whole thing like you naturally pivot to higher stars "cuz stronger unit duh" like i remember getting mudrock early into the game -trivializing the entire first few chapters until crownslayer completely despairing there cuz i never learned the game and just using guides for a while until i suddenly started developing my own strategies by nature of me not wanting to build the units they were using i only experienced the joy of beating a really hard level after hours of finetuning your strategies pretty late but im glad i did - for those still reading im not saying to play like im telling you to to enjoy the game especially because if you play like that you get burned out really quickly imo just keep it in mind when you play or try something inbetween idk
