This guy looks like every dad in the 90’s😂
No such thing as over doing this bud
Thank you
I was there for the first time a couple days ago on holiday Monday. The drone is great but doesn't capture the size of some of the jumps. The layout is a bit different now in spots, but that approaching that step up at 1:10 in the video it looks like it's going to launch you to the ISS. Huge. It's a great track, and so unique being in the middle of a major city. Great facility all around!
Potholes will definitely make the back wheels bounce
Exactly then the bike will fall over because the back tire wasn’t secured, not very good info to tell ppl that the back tire doesn’t need to be tied down…in my opinion
Solid vid bro
Thanks
Good video. Track changed since 1998. 😀. Amazing to have Mx track downtown in a Major city. Congrats Calgary.
Did everything right... except I didn't have the soft straps ...
i always put a 3rd strap on the back.... short story: many year ago, a road accident had to manuver and went off the road and the bike went over the side of the truck bed... since that day i use a 3rd strap on the back wheel.
100% do this if you have another strap
The Grey golf in the background! Is that the one with the vr5 or the vr6 engine. I got one exactly like it vr5 200 HP Best car I ever had. Salute from Denmark 🇩🇰
Glad I seen this- I LOVE the duals and never owned one, so now that I want a big bore 4 stroke to go with my Italian TM Racing EN300ES 2t, the 2022 Honda CRF450R-S looks like a SOLID choice for what I want to use it for! Pro Circuit engine upgrades(titanium exhaust valves, Racing Cam, Racing HC Piston, Valve springs etc.), Luxon Triple clamps & adjustable billet linkage arms, FCP Engine mounts, Nihilo Concepts & Works Connection parts galore, and finish it off with a Showa steering damper, and Vortex ECU from Twisted Development or XPR Engines. Yes, I dreamt about this bike for a long time but bought smaller displacement 4t Yamaha YZ250FX, and small displacement Husqvarna TE150i before I moved to my new TM Racing 300 2 stroke (just built the engine and probably putting Ohlins suspension upgrades alone until I pick up the Honda and start building it!!! Pick and choose wisely boys - internal combustion engine 4 & 2 strokes will cease in production in year 2035. I'm building these two guys up to ride into the sunset with!!! 💪😎🤘
“Fork support” get the fuck outta here it’s called a 2x4 city boy , I’ll save the 100 bucks your charging and buy fuel and oil
Awesome video
Thx
i love this perspective! the birds eye view is deceiving though these jumps look way bigger in person!
I always hook mine to the pegs works great
Thank you for making this video i am the same weight and height and now i know i need my suspension re valved :)
you have to strap the ramp too
The 20 has duel exhaust but the 21 doesn’t
I like the duals
Cool video and a Sweet track!
Damn
I got a 2020 450 and it’s probably the biggest pice of shit I’ve had in a while
why’s that?
@@oddyxnuff won’t start with the E start and it’s brand new
that’s it?
@@oddyxnuff he was making it seem like it blew up
@@rodneyburke2202 lmao, yeah i’f that’s the only thing that’s wrong with it, then that’s absolutely user error
WTF i have 2015 model cb500x looks very good but my bike tuning, that new bike look sucksssss!
This guy does not know much the 2020 is the highest horsepower 450 ever built I even talked to a honda mechanic who deals and builds these bikes all day. The 2021 has less power and is more linear cause most people couldn't handle the aggressiveness in the 2020
What brand of tie down straps did you use?
Great video & straight to the point
thats where my brother got his 2020 450r and thats one of the best Honda shops i have been in and Boris is the nicest salesmen that i have met
Honda love the oval shape.
Love when you make available the complete bike and rider rolling on the street, it helps so much understanding the dimension and looks. Good job, great video.
Aaaaaaa...
2020
Great comparison. Could you do the same comparison on the CRF450RL?
ชอบมากๆครับ( Wery good)
Fuck i miss Calgary that track is sick
Couldn't disagree more cuz, my 2020 crf450 is great in hardpack and terrible in the soft. The front end tucks so much I named my bike Tucker.
your fault
rock mountain yamaha but reviewing honda.
if you ever went to the rocky mountain Honda shop in calgary they took on Yamaha as well so they sell both now which was a surprise to me
Put an exhaust & suspension on a 2020 and under 450 and you'll be happy
Why the exhaust?
@@bigbeer5708 Because the Pro Circuit, Akrapovic, & Yoshimura exhausts broaden the power and makes the engine pull harder for longer, but also makes the power more linear and easy to use! Aftermarket for 2020 CRF450R/2022 CRF450R-S is almost essential unless you are Godzilla and can hold on to a runaway train for hours on end? lol I just put a deposit down for one 2022 CRF450R-S and I'm probably going for a Pro Circuit Ti-6 Pro exhausts with their engine performance kit that has their PC/JE High Compression Racing Piston, Racing valve springs, and billet racing camshaft, and then top it off with Pro Circuit titanium race valves to be sent to XPR Engines for a port & polish on the cylinder head, a Vortex ECU/Ignition, and special mapping for the race gas to make this the perfect Cross Country racing bike! It's also getting some RX upgrades like fuel tank, pro moto billet kickstand, collection tanks, and coolers to be routed up to the radiators from Red Moto where I will install a new stator and capacitor to get more power to run two fans for cooling and a red Boyesen Super Cooler!👌 We'll get a Rekluse CX auto/manual combo clutch system with an ARC RC-8 Works cable clutch all laced with braided lines to a Ride Engineering cable holder to the XPR cable arm. Luxon triple clamps and push rods for the linkage with a ride engineering bar clamps that have a built in holder for a GPR V5 Steering Stabilizer like what is on my TM Racing EN300ES 2 stroke! ;) So yes, modifications not only increase power, performance, and feel, but they make the bike way easier to ride if you do it right. ;) These Hondas are fun and the 17-20 are the only platform from them that accept KYB A-Kit suspension from Technical Touch because of Cole Seely using them before. :) But may get Ohlins like my Italian TM Racing bike before I changed it to Ohlins. All these bikes are fun! Get to building, my man, and GO RIP!!! It takes me years to save for this stuff and I'm just getting to enjoy it now...but Never give up or give in until you reach your goals in life!!!!!
Have the 20 and absolutely love the thing will be putting street tires on it for next season
I dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid lost my login password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me
@Willie Jensen Instablaster :)
@Danny Joaquin thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Danny Joaquin It worked and I finally got access to my account again. Im so happy:D Thanks so much, you saved my ass :D
@Willie Jensen Happy to help xD
I have a 17 cb500x and I don't have a bit of trouble with the clutch . I'm 61 and have psa and almost EVERYTHING makes my hands hurt. This is a very light clutch and if the slipper lightens up the clutch than anyone can ride it in any condition. I love mine and being vertically challenged,I don't see me ever getting anything else.
Great review - thank you!
Thank you!
👍🏻
Hey can we buy this bike now bs4 version some are saying it's discontinued so can I buy it now reply?
The CB650F and CBR650F are the bikes that were discontinued. They were both replaced with the new name CB/CBR 650R The 650R is available as of now
@@DorDor400 but In Google it's showing that cbr650r is disconnected and bs6 version will be releasing in march so I was thinking that can we buy bs4 honda cbr650r now iam confused due to Google
@@saiharish6700 It may be different in your country. Youll have to contact a local Honda dealer - this is North American based
@@DorDor400 thanks for the information
47 hp, 31.5 ft-lb torque actually
Actually, there are numerous different figures across the internet. It also entirely depends on your elevation.
Good performance 😉
Wish you of given the range and MPG very important.
Range has too many variables to state an accurate claim. But you can expect a range of about 400 - 475 kms or about 250 miles. These bikes make on average of about 70 mpgs. But thats based on controlled testing, hence why I did not state those claims. Elevation, terrain and driving habits directly effect range and to base facts off of 80 kmh testing on a straight road isnt realistic. But the above mentioned is what you can expect.
Good review Bro on the 500x. Look forward for more.
Great review, and I am looking to get back into motorcycling after decades away--am 59 now, excellent shape, and I rode bikes growing up in the Midwest. Got away from it after high school, and other than taking the MSF course and getting my endorsement about 15 years ago, have not started riding again. So, I'd consider myself a newb and do not want to get too much bike -- at 434 pounds, do you think this is a good bike to learn or would you recommend something smaller (say a bmw g 310 gs or ktm 390 adventure)? I really don't think I'd ever want anything bigger, as I imagine I'll do 50% on road and the other 50% on dirt roads, forest roads/mountain roads and some gentle trails (no technical single track or anything like that). Would appreciate your thoughts--thanks!
Hey Jman - absolutely this would be a perfect bike to get into. they are very very easy to ride, very forgiving bikes. Great on fuel, great for city or highway or off road! This bike can do it all. The GS310 is good, but it is very small, and underpowered. I can almost promise you, you will be desiring more power. especially if you ever ride highway.
@@DorDor400 Thanks, Dorian, I really appreciate the feedback--I think you're spot on. For how I would want to use the bike, you are right, although the 310 gs would be a good way to start, I'd be moving on up to the 500x after that, so I might as well start out there. Plus, I grew up riding Honda bikes, my brother has one, and you cannot beat their reliability. Thanks again!
@@Jmaninaz1 Id suggest the ktm 390 over the 310. Depends how much you weight. The 310 is drastically underpowered. and the 390 has a higher resale value
Hi What was your decision? I was in the same predicament... I have now the X for 4 months , I'm 55 , 66 kg, 1.70m ....3 silly falls but the X is incredible, nimble and happy machine, . Riding after 19 years, for me the bike is perfect like suited gloves. I recommend it dearly
The CB500X is fine for beginners. I bought a CB500X last year, and love this bike. I’m teaching my son to ride on this also, since it’s very easy to handle.
This is definitely a dreamland!
Such a great “tour” of the east track at Wild Rose MX. You broke it down so well I’m excited to ride it again!
