I'm struggling to aim the cannon correctly so it hits the targets. Is there a specific way the crosshairs have to be lined up for the grenades to hit their target?

I came here after passing this mission and the god damn McMillan too, i don't understand the point of coming here and see how you beat the mission and you play on veteran. If you need help, just lower the difficulty babyboy, if you watch this and beat it, you didn't finish the game on veteran, you are a recruit.
