Johnny was an outrageous skater - which you can be when you couple it with impeccable skating, total musicality, and great choreography. He never gave less than 100% on the ice.

How extraordinary. The way he stacks such big jumps for the second half of the program is incredible. But also his musicality in drama and precision is just amazing. I always knew he was talented, but this medium has opened up so much more for those of us who missed it in the moment.
Same! I missed watching him skate as I've only recently discovered him. He's so fluid and graceful. Very light on the ice. And that jump, jump, jump combo he does it fabulous. I love that he spins clockwise, too. Somewhat unusual.

... Im watching this again and I Just love it as the first time I saw it! I remember the controversial change of coach. According to what I read, Johnny needed to further some other skills with another coach.

I really enjoy watching him skate, even though my favorite will always be Scott Hamilton. Of all the appreciative stuffed toys he got, I loved Cheburashka. I had a friend who sent me one from Ukraine and it sang a little song.

They need to show to prep and make it clean so they can land nicely u cant hide it u can just make it go with the music do u expect them to just jump when the note hits and spin theirself in the air 3 times
This is not Johnny’s NHK FS. He did not compete for the NHK Trophy in 2007. This is Johnny’s FS in the 2007 Cup of Russia where he took the Gold.

Why do announcers think it's okay to talk constantly over the program?
Scott Hamilton was the worst. He talked on and on throughout Paul Wiley's silver medal performance. There is a time to just keep quiet and enjoy the performance
