Hey Frank, Thanks for the awesome comment. During these Hot Summer Months, I focus on getting on the water early and off by 10-11am. The Moon Phase first. We had New Moon conditions. I have found the wind is usually really calm during this time. Then I focus on the prime times, second. www.primetimes2.com/pages/4-astrotables.html Then the tide, third. The tide is always best on the swings, incoming, then out going. If you can line all those up. BOOM! BTW, also don't discount the full moon. I just find it's windier and tougher to get out to the bridge. As for switching out the hooks, You can get 4x treble hooks and switch them out. I did lose a fish (Jack?) due to bent hooks. However 95% of the Big Fish I land don't bend them. I do believe if they eat it whole the stock hooks work good. My go to bait whether Fresh or salt water is that Nomad Design Thread Fin Shad 3/4oz SWIMTREX MAX 66 LIPLESS CRANKBAIT. You're odds of catching more fish just increase. It's a crazy bait. I love it. Hey Robert, Thanks for the shout out. Here is the reel I have been using for a year now. amzn.to/45fo608 I really like like and it's cost effective. I put 30lb braid on. You could use 40lb. I use ReactionTackle.com braid. However, any brand will work. Color? Bright Yellow and/or Black. Rod - Any 6 1/2 foot Med Heavy is fine. I have my rods custom built. I do use Braid to Mono/Fluorocarbon line leader. 30lb/30lb or 40lb/40lb I hope that helps.Remember, you're just one cast away...

Tournament organizations need to be regulated by lawmakers. It’s out of hand with the size of these tournaments and incompetence among some of the participants. I personally think tournaments should have oversight by the gaming commissions of each state. It’s nothing more than unregulated gambling.

@@pain_weaver What I’m suggesting is tournament organizations only care about making money. The similarities to legal regulated gambling are the same. Pay up front than take your chances. Regulators can set standards and monitor these organizations. Right now it’s the wild west.

Hey I'm a bass fisherman. I don't have a bass boat tho as it doesn't suit my needs they suck in waves. Got me a 50 on a 16 foot boat. I have more respect for other fisherman than most. I keep distance and if I have to split 2 boats cause of ski boaters cutting me off I drop plane and idle between
