      Hola Héctor, Gracias por tu comentario. El funcionamiento intermitente de un sistema hidráulico posiblemente indica aire en el fluido hidráulico, contaminación en el fluido hidráulico, obstrucción en los filtros o desgaste de las válvulas. Si intenta reparar la herramienta usted mismo, asegúrese de anotar la ubicación y alineación de todos los componentes internos durante el desmontaje y fotografíe las piezas cuando sea necesario para garantizar un reensamblaje correcto. Utilice un limpiador de frenos y embrague para descontaminar las piezas internas. Aquí hay un enlace a una guía de solución de problemas hidráulicos en formato PDF que puede resultar útil. www.eaton.com/content/dam/eaton/hydraulics/services/ace/Hydraulic_hints_troubleshooting_guide.pdf Esperamos que esto ayude. How much pressure do I need for pressing such a stainless steel fitting ? I want to press such a fitting on a 5mm/6mm steel cable (for my fitness cable pulley). Is a normal big crimping plier for electrical cables for 10/16/25/35/50mm2 enough or do I need hydraulic crimping pliers ? (Maybe a dumb question, but ...) is the 10/16/25/35/50mm2 size related to the cable or the fitting dimension ? Thanks in advance !

    • @TecniCable
      @TecniCable Před 3 lety

      Hi. Thanks for the comment. An electrical crimper would not be suitable for this fitting and we would recommend using a large hydraulic press to generate sufficient pressure. At TECNI we have these large presses and can manufacture assemblies to your design & specification. If you would like a quote please contact sales@tecni.uk. Thanks again.

    [ POSSIBLE FIX ! ] If anyone has problems with one of these things not working then it could also be because of blocked oil pathway. My tool stopped working after one crimp and after few hours of screwing around I managed to find out that there was a small metal burr inside one of the oil pathways. After getting it out it works again.

    • @TecniCable
      @TecniCable Před 3 lety

      Hi. Thanks for the comment. Swage fittings will have a higher breaking load and are easier to assemble / tamper proof, however, for DIY installations these are a great alternative which are very strong when correctly assembled. Progressive round swaging also works the same as the Hexagon swaging so long as the correct after swage dimensions are met (After swage dimensions of round swaging is different to the across flats on a hex swage). Thanks for your feedback.

    @markmenezes2386 Před 3 lety

    Hi quick question, Mark from Ontario Canada. Purchased this product last year and working fine. Question I have is how many times should I swage the ball/shank terminal ? I'm currently doing it 3 times . I see your doing it two times. I know there is a micrometer measure standard that you can measure the diameter of the ball and shank circumference. I just dont want to "over swage" and damage the ball shank on the cable which I'm thinking may weeken it. I'm basically using this for fitness cable applications. Or...is swaying it twice like you demonstrated it good enough? Or do I need even bother measuring if I've swaged 2 or 3 times and the end termination is as strong as you mentioned here in this video? Thank you Mark.

    • @TecniCable
      @TecniCable Před 3 lety

      Hi Mark Thanks for the comment. If you are using our ball fittings they are malleable so pressing them 3+ times until you get the desired finish will not over swage the fitting. The two presses in the video are solely as a demonstration to show you an example of rotating and repressing. When pressing ball fittings you are looking to achieve an even reduction and smooth shape with a minimal ridge line. In some instances this will be achieved very few presses. We would recommend that any termination should always be checked to ensure full reduction has been achieved. It is also good practice to ensure that the wire rope you are using is the correct diameter for the fitting. Hope this helps. For any more advice or to find out the specific after swage of your fitting please visit www.tecni.uk. Thanks again
