Congratulations on reaching 500 subscribers! I liked the page insert. You did good centering the ribbon. I struggle with centering things. I'd measure the size and try to figure out what was half the size and still get it off center half the time. LOL I bought a centering ruler. It's so much easier, and it was reasonably priced. Now it doesn't matter if the size is something that isn't easy to divide in half or if the edges are curved.

It's a beautiful journal! I love the way you added to the pages to enhance them. The sparkling purple ribbon highlights the colors in the kit. I love it and the other ribbons you used. The ribbon side tuck with the folding journal page is a wonderful idea. I like how the ribbon holds the paper in without hiding how pretty it is. You should be proud of yourself for making such a gorgeous journal. This is your first journal, correct?

I love to sew! I also crochet and have done several other crafts. I only got into working with paper a couple of years ago. Back when I went to school, we had home ec. It was in 7th grade and we use treadle sewing machines. I remember sewing a zipper into the back of a dress. I had so much trouble getting it straight. When I finally got it straight, it was in upside down! I did fix it and wore the dress.

Hi Terri! I LOVE purple. What a beautiful set of digitals! Every time I am fussy cutting butterflies I cut of the antennae and draw them on. It is just easier that way! That kitties are really cute too. I like how made those and circles little tuck spots. Gives it a bit more character that way! Lace belly bands are also a nice touch! I like the different shades of the purple, so beautiful! I love the envelope you used as well. All of it came together so nicely. Beautiful job and great journal so far!

They are really cute. I'm not a big fan of Christmas and don't like Christmas in July. I know that crafters need to start early to get everything done in time. I made 30 Christmas cards one year and I learned that it takes more time than you think it will! After my mother died, my brothers and I stopped exchanging gifts.

Love the technique! For some reason, the black backing, really catches my eye. The bookmark my favorite. I'll have to play round and see what I can come up with. I'm starting the June journal by Amanda, The Scrimpingmommy. With the various pages in the digital, there is a lot of opportunity to use the technique.

I'm trying to sort my ephemera into categories. Like, grunge, holidays, nature, girly stuff, etc. Of course not everything will fit into a category, but that stuff goes into a separate bag. I think it will make it easier to find what I'm looking for. I have seen several different ephemera holders that i would like to make, but i need some organization first. I like your snippets. I'm still not sure what I'd do with them. I like to put things together as I work on my projects. I don't feel the need to rush and have to have things pre-made. That's just me.

I like it a lot, it's pretty and a clever idea. I do like pink but I'm finding that I like jewel tones quite a bit lately. Don't worry about having some minor issues with putting things together. None of us are perfect. I watch one lady who wastes a lot of time, cutting things out, deciding on how she wants to change things, dragging the video out. I usually skip ahead a bit. I like her and her work. it's just the waiting that I don't care for.

I go through my internet history occasionally and saw that I didn't get a chance to finish this video. I love the hidden paperclips with pockets. I can see where they would come in handy to add to a page that's a little bit blah. I'll add this video to my list of, to dos.

Cute. The butterfly on the hidden paperclips is very pretty. I've made several hidden paperclips but I like to use pictures of old books. Some if the titles from the beginning of the last century are very interesting. I'm glad women's life is no longer dominated by a man.

Nice card, even though I hate bugs. You were brave. If l was the one making the card, I'd just use the stamp and say that was enough bugs. I use to love sewing also. I have quilt tops that I need to finish. I live in a mobile home and there is no room. Also anything that doesn't have a place, goes into my craft room. I'm working on my kitchen table.

Terri, maybe you could pick up one of those glue sticks that look purple when you apply it, then the color goes away after a bit. I try to keep one around for when I need to actually be sure I have gotten areas covered. LOL. Just a thought. TFS. YOU DID A GOOD JOB! From Gladys Ward.
