Hello. My neighbor has this model and the opener is not working. When you push the button to open it, the opener makes two concurrent "du-dinct" humming noises and makes no movement. The lights don't go on, either. I checked the alignment of the safety sensors and they appear to be okay as when I put my foot in front of the invisible beam the red light blinks and then turns solid upon removal of my foot. Do you have an idea why it is not working?

Just need to know the opener code for my genie IS550 so I can program my keypad.

I just recently got one, it was in need of a good cleaning but everything appeared to be complete. Price was right, and I now own it. The thing is probably the quietest door opener I have ever heard, and it seems to work but I'm having problems getting the limit switches set. I really would be very thankful if someone could give me a little advice on what I'm apearently missing or not seeing. Thank you in advance, I've had many different opener's in my time, just never had to work on any and now I'm getting beat down pretty good with not understanding this one.

The openers and garage doors are pretty loud. The sound reminds me of a chain glide. But those doors are really noisy.

I have two of these openers and both bounce badly on the t rail as the doors go up and down which makes a loud banging. How do I fix that so it rides smooth?

You should honestly just say Genie Chain Drive instead of Pro Max as the name Pro Max was used for Chain Glides too, Not just these. Yes, Some Genie Chain Glides are under the ProMax name. And some of these ProMax chain drives were just branded Genie Intellicode (for the retail version). And speaking of Chain Glides, The motor on these ProMaxs sound really similar. It even kind of has that hum to it. And these are way better than Chain Glides.
