It's just the minimum skill level is quite a bit higher than the others. If you want to run this, you need to have invested quite a lot of time to get competent enough to make a race distance. A lot of the other formula series take less time to be able to run consistent laps, or have dedicated communities like the old f1 cars.

Honestly i feel 2009 was the best one. The pack racing was awesome, needed setups to be competitive, you could actually trigger wrecks by touching in the wrong spot. I honestly think it was one of the best console nascar games.

iRating has nothing to do with the amount of crashing in the way most of these replies are trying to state. That's Safety Rating. When you look at how much the field spreads out in road racing vs oval racing, as the poster says, there's less variance. You don't have 30 lead changes per race in road racing. more people can win any given oval race and that's fact based not opinion based. that spreads the iRating out and means fewer people have the ability to dominate all the time.

Speed is nothing without fun. VR is the clear winner. Before i go back to flat i gave up Gaming. 2d is so boring after you drive years in 3d and then in VR. Its like looking Movies in blach and white withoit a Sound. For me, 2d is the penultimate generation. VR destroys the fun of racing in the living room forever.

In our league if you get caught by RC going through more than 3 stalls on pit road you get black flagged.

I just bought this because they have a laser scanned version of Portland - it was pretty good. I also tried a LIDAR version of Watkins Glen that was mostly okay and a fan made version of Sonoma that was just plain bad. The stock cars feel good but I agree that they are a bit too gripped up until they aren't. Ironically many people used to say this (and some still do) about iRacing but I think iRacing has gotten significantly better with this over time. I was 4 to 5 seconds faster than the real track records on both tracks in RF2 after 5-10 laps. I did not notice any tire falloff on RF2 but that may be because of settings, I'm not familiar enough with the game to make that judgment. The force feedback on RF2 beats iRacing's IMO, it's very smooth and intuitive.

tbh it looked like he almost pitted himself in the end loosing the title. it curves to the left and mans holding a straight line while lake holds left 😂

It was amazing to be apart of the first season, it was awesome to be a fan for the second season. That all around experience was just amazing. Im sure with iracing’s game in 2025 that they will have their own version of this for console.
