Since the streaming platforms nowadays offer a lot of remastered or otherwise "improved" music, it is important to me to show how the music actually sounded on the long-playing records released by the artist at the time.

The vinyl recording is digitised using the following equipment:
Turntable: Brinkmann Oasis with Brinkmann 10.5 and RöNt III power supply
Cartridge: Hana ML
via XLR Cable to
Amplifier: Technics SU-R1000
with a Breuer RCA connection to a Tascam DA-3000 master recorder and recorded in DSD - 5.6Mhz quality.
Scratches were carefully removed with the software "Vinylstudio". The music file was then saved as aiff 24bit /192kHz file. This file was then imported into iMovie for movie creation.
The film is edited with iMovie, resulting in an 1080p ProRes video file with LPCM Audio 24Bit/48Khz. The video is compressed with Shutter Encoder and the audio signal is embedded with LPCM 24Bit/48Khz.
This file is uploaded to CZcams.
Before recording, the LP's are cleaned with the Humminguru Ultrasonic Vinyl Record Cleaner.

The wall e stato pubblicato 45 anni fa.. avevo 21 anni.. e da allora lo ascolto sempre regolarmente .. e oggi a 66 anni apprezzo più che mai il genio musicale di Waters e della sua incredibile band..

Best Pink Floyd album ever

This SACD was HORRIBLY brickwalled when it was remastered. The 5.1 layer on it sounds amazing but the stereo mix is just plain awful. The original masters from 1985 sound so much better

Got to see the Floyd perform “The Wall” in Germany in 1982. Hands down, it was the absolute best concert I ever saw. Better than The Beatles, ELP, Elton John in his prime among other performers.

Back in '85 I was too young to own my own car, but all the cats said the test of a good stereo system, was this song at highest volume, usually a Trans Am or Camaro and no distortion. 40 years later I've got the record on my home system. No distortion. Everything Rob Ludwig produced is magic. And hey Sting!

In this case the SA-CD might be better. It is a native DSD recording anyway.

Yes, every video of mine has been published in 1080p for about a year now. Individual pieces of music are not really a problem in terms of copyright. It seems to be different for entire LPs. Sometimes old LPs, such as Vivaldi, are blocked after a week. Sometimes the videos are also blocked before release and sometimes immediately afterwards. The reasons why a particular disc can remain or is blocked probably remains a secret for CZcams. However, it has been shown that lower resolutions and the elimination of keywords using special characters is a way of confusing the algorithm.... yet. 😊😂 Using special characters naturally restricts the findability of titles, as they cannot be found via the CZcams search. That is the disadvantage. But if you have subscribed to the channel, you can make sure that you get a message when a new LP is released.

How lucky for those of us who had the privilege of belonging to the generation of the great prodigious decade and the joy of reaching old age, an opportunity that many are denied and that even today, 70 years later, we are listening to this wonderful music that makes us remember and brings out the little pieces of boys that we all have inside.
