Lovebites is a self made band. It is actually the drummer Haruna and the former bassist Miho that did form the band. So, it is not an idol band. They also write all music themselves (earlier songs they had help of someone called Mao). But yes, they are well rehearsed. The crazy fast shredding they do needs to have a plan. This is not one of their more difficult songs. Its their anthem, that they play to their fans. Regarding their roles. I would say yes and no. The two sides of Midori (extrovert) and Miyako (introvert) has been exaggerated. After their comeback in 2023 it looks like they mostly have stopped doing that. I would say they now are quite natural on the scene. The drummer Haruna and the guitarist Miyako are introverts and the singer Asami and the guitarist Midori are extroverts. And the bassist Fami is young and new in the band and always smiles. And everyone seems happy.

In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they waited out the pandemic and searched for a new bassist. They got a New bassist in late '23 and started touring again last Fall. They are playing all across Europe this summer, and in the US starting in early September. Most of the original LOVEBITES songs belong to speed, progressive, thrash, neoclassical metal. There are also songs that can be classified as hard rock ( hard and heavy). LOVEBITES is not an idol group. Idols are the product of various music agencies involved in the production of mass pop culture. LOVEBITES is a heavy metal band whose members found each other on their own, without the help of agencies, etc. Before LOVEBITES, the ladies played in various metal bands. If you started talking about Goddesses, then in 2018 LOVEBITES won Metal Hammer's GOLDEN GODS (London, UK) and became 'Best New Band' in the world of heavy music

Firstly, Lovebites is not an "idol" band. They are formed organically by ex-bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Secondly, there will not be rap in their music, they are a heavy metal band that plays a seamless blend of speed-power/thrash/prog/neoclassical metal/heavy rock/power ballads which makes their sound unique and contemporary. BTW, they sing 100% of their songs (with the exception of one) in English.

This song, as well as several others, is power metal. But they play a variety of different styles, including thrash/speed metal, NWOBHM-inspired traditional metal (like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, etc), progressive metal, symphonic and neoclassical metal. So they aren't a power metal band, strictly speaking, but are just a metal band. Also, although some of Japan's metal bands do come from Idol culture (BABYMETAL, METALVERSE, Ladybaby, and some others), LOVEBITES do not. They formed organically on their own completely outside of the Idol system. Their costume design is almost certainly inspired by Greek goddesses, but their main reasons for wearing white costumes is 1) because they are all so small, they want to stand out against the stage background so the audience can see them better, and 2) because they bring very positive messages and want to stand apart from the dark and violent side of the heavy metal scene.
