If you're decreasing it's BP because of low hp, you might need to remember that it also got sturdy as an ability (gen 2 onwards) which guarantee Magnemite to survive at least 2-hit.

I can't agree with that 1* rating on design. Sure, the design is somewhat bland but nicely executed. The fact that it got tremendous defense is properly portrayed on the design, that's what I call a good design. Also, it didn't float, but barely standing(wobbling) using it's tail. I think you went too harsh on your subjectivity here, it should get at least 3*.

Magnemite in some ways resembles Geodude: He is in almost every game not because of the big hype, like it's were with Magicarp, Psydukc or Pikachu. It simply fills the place of the Iron Pokémon, because there are few metal Pokémon. The same can be said about Geodude, he is just a cave mon

Magneton was one of my favorites back in Emerald, had one on my team in every run

Honestly I think Magnemite is a great example of minimalism. It's basically an analog Porygon, fashioned out of a mysterious metal ball with screws and magnets. And that iconic eyeball sets it apart from the rampant Sugimori Eyes of Gen 1.

Rapidash needs a mega where it just gets wings

Being honest doesn't electric and steel make a pretty meh defensive combo? Compared to just steel, you only gain a quad resistance to steel and fliying (both being resisted already) and gain a quadruple weakness to ground, being honest, it doesn't sound too strong. Oh wait, that type combo also gains a resistance to electric... Well, I guess thats better than nothing.

The design is underated

I feel that magnemite should be a much higher battle prowess given that it is quite strong in LC

I mean, no accounting for taste, I think it's pretty cute in a silly way. It is kind of a joke, but I don't mind those every now and again, like Dudunspares. I kinda wouldn't mind the eyes on the front, but that's me.

Alas, in Gen 1 it's not that great. Ninetales completely trivializes its existence by just being better in every way. The two get compared a lot given the way they're version exclusive mirrors of each other, so... Ninetales ends up dropping lower in tiers and going up higher in tiers over time, swinging wildly in quality and peaking in Gen 5 OU. Arcanine starts in NU but spends most of its life in UU before finally falling off in the later generations. Intimidate kept it relevant for awhile, though it never saw the power spike that Ninetale's Drought hidden power provided the fox.

I just noticed for the first time in my life, that Kantonean Rapidash has a horn just like the Galarian.

I would bump up the concept a little just because a Fire Unicorn is pretty cool.

Hah, using Curse + Eviolith + Slowpock's Trick Room was quite fun, he easily cleared physical attackers I also came up with the "Aura Pressure" attack. It is a special version of the Psychic-type Body Press, and this makes the "Slowbro Amnesia" bundle the same as in Generation 1 with a Special Stat. It also makes sense, because after Amnesia, the Slowbros probably look pretty dumb, which is scary

Best pokemon is garchomp. Great battle prowess, great availability, awesome concept, excellent design.
