This is an eagle creek 40L global companion pack. It’s great for trips whether short or more long term travel. 40L is my preferred packing style since it fits into most planes and you don’t have to check any luggage! The only thing to consider is that you won’t be able to bring a crazy amount of anything, so if you’re a heavy packer, then a 40 L might not be the best fit, however anything bigger than a 40 L will be too big to fit as carry-on luggage on a plane

It's literally the best way to travel!
There is never any reason to ever use a large cube for travel so next time save it for storage at home, fold the items and then roll very tightly and neatly into a medium cube and never under fill it as it defeats the object of using cube, use two medium cubes and stand them on their edge and then use flat storage bags clear ones are perfect as you can see at a glance what is in them both for travel and at your destination.. a large clear pencil case and clear zipped woven document folders are brilliant for every travel storage need .. anything bulky will make the backpack bulge like yours did. Compress your bulky items into ziplock bags and remove the air .. make sure your liquids are all together and easily accessible for Security/TSAx

Hello! I am not sure what my pack weighed all together, however I do know that I am able to take it with me on almost all international flights when it is fully stuffed! God bless 40 L backpacks

what packing cubes do you have?
I have the Hynes Eagle packing cubes. They're really great, haven't ripped at all so far, and they're compressible which is a MUST HAVE for travel.
