I am now 66 and the more I hear The Waifs the more baffled I get that I had never even heard of them until CZcams threw "Crazy Train" from Wave Aid 2005 at me just before Christmas 2023. How is it that such a talented band only reached my sphere of musical experience after they had split (the 2023/24 dates notwithstanding)? OK, I'm in the UK but it is clear that Donna, at least, was (still) in London at some point and yet I (still) missed out. This is one of the very best sessions I have ever heard.

My all time favorite blues musician, and the man who started my life long obsession with it. I fear he has finally retired, but after 50+ years, he deserves it! Still will always miss seeing him.
