There was no other choice for #1.

X-Men had allways been about social commentary and the exclusion of the "other", minority and the outcast. The mainstream media on both sides have misused and bastersized the real meaning of that term. As a long time X-men fan the stories are allways better when there were multiple layers and characters being paid attention too. Cyclops is shown as the complex leader who carry's the burden of leadership. Storm is the goddess and natural leader in her own right. Wolverine is the perfect internal antagonist to Cyclops while still being the hero we love. Jean is allways the glue. Beast, Nightcrawler, Morph bring varied and layered balance with humor. I never liked Gambit, but this show highlited how much of an upstanding and heroic dude he is. Jubilee and Rogue bring power and personality.. MAGNETO had the best dialog I've hears in a long time. Excellent video Ant.

Also, I was never really a cyclops fan but this show changed my perspective on him and dude he's badass now lol

Heard the writers were taking ideas from a fan they were working with...but dude I grew up with X-men and this was a GREAT comeback...I like how they didnt exclude all the other marvel characters in the same universe
