I’d actually ask for the CRiS number off the seller before I went to see the caravan so I could check if it has finance still on it and that it wasn’t stolen. It’s no good spending an hour or so then they say it isn’t registered with CRiS!

Wouldn't it be better to design and make quality vans that don't leak, instead of the rubbish that is now on the market, with the first line of defence against water ingress being sealant, just waiting for when the van leaks and not if ?

Just picked one up last weekend for 3k complete with motor mover. Everything works perfectly and the previous owner left us pots, pans, crockery and cutlery as well as a drill to wind the legs down with plus full size awning. Gas bottle. The lot. Absolute bargain for our first van

If the meter shows no reading does this mean the area is full of water?

fatal mistake by the guys in motorhome. you plugged mains in first , when you should have plugged it in the van first . shocking mistake😮

You mentioned that the elldis had a 10 year warranty, for punters that aren't aware this is just for water ingress the mechanical and fittings etc will be 3 years to my understanding.

I've had a swift 6td since new, would not change it. Plenty of room for the family.

Hello! Couple of reasons of using the caravan is because of:: 1- if I choice to travel in a big city or something like, I have the option to split, for doing different thing or to get in places where with the big motorhome I can't go! 2- If I chose to let for a while in a place the caravan, I can do that, widhout letting the car also there 3- Possibility to change the car, while the caravan I still have it 4- I can use the car for my own, for months, widhout pulling (if necessary or not) 5- For a caravan, you can choose different space/volume, widhout affecting you for a big time... So YES, Caravan! Overall it has more freedom,by doing different thing, in family or friends! Have good roads everybody!! 🚙🛣️

Good video, i tested the window rubber of my alutech van in the wrong way mentioned in the video.

Quickest I ever set my caravan up was 20 minutes and that was on a level pitch but its normally about 40 minutes . Same pitch in my motorhome took 10 minutes including filling the water tank and that is about how long it takes all the time... No contest really.

That was us two at Cirencester early May! I had 3G at best, Kim had 4g. We’ve now bought a Netgear M1 and poynting antenna. We’ll be trying it next weekend. This is soooo funny because it’s true! 😂 Andy and Kim.

Its amazing how many new M/H and Caravans come out of factories with Crap sealing Mastic sinks and they are not checked again before dispatch so then it costs them for someone else to do the job on warranty claims

Caravan prices are going silly. I bought our 2008 Eccles Topaz 2 years ago for £5000. Saw one, exactly the same, for sale last week for £7995. It sold.
