Nah it isn't dangerous really. Just likely to get moisture problems unless you're house is very dry in the winter.

a very humid house + cold windows means your windows will be completely soaked and dripping all the time. or if it gets down to -25 to -40 the ice will freeze into the base of the windows and cause damage. especially if your windows are old. it wrecks shitty windows and wrecks paint and drywall. ask me how i know. that’s a tenant damage deposit i’ll never get back.

i live in the middle of the canadian prairies, it’s also super dry, and had this setup for a while. it’s dry here but the dryer made it so wet in the house that all the windows basically were soaked during the winter. humidity was up in the 70s and i had to buy a dehumidifier. it was literally mold paradise and super bad for my wood frame windows. i promise you definitely don’t want this lol.

If there's chemicals that's harmful in your clothes that you're worried about this then your skin is infinitely more at risk. Use less detergent if you're clothes is still soaked with laundry detergent when you dry it.

What he said^.. Use a cleaner detergent if you’re so worried about the chemicals. And wanting/not wanting the moisture would be an opinion. For myself, living in a dry climate, it would be a whole lot better than boiling water to try to get moisture back into the air.

Depends on your climate. In a lot of the northern areas we want moisture being added to the air in the winter. Also running the vent into a bucket of rock salt dries the air if needed. This idea isn't uncommon in some areas during the winter

@@digginggopher a dryer that does not vent all the hot, moist air it produces to the outsides, but a closed system. Eg. a condensation dryer, best a heat pump dryer

If you live anywhere with a winter your humidity inside is super low due to the cold. Unless you're running your dryer 24/7 there isn't enough moisture to cause mold.

I lost patience when I had the battery replaced for $29 under warranty and then it needed replaced again 1 year later. Then the charging port got really loose because I was plugging it in constantly to charge it and the cord would only charge at a certain position.

The battery life went downhill. Apple acknowledged the battery issue after updating and offered a battery replacement for only $29, which I did in late 2018. That battery was good for a while, but after a year, I was having to charge the phone multiple times throughout the day, especially in colder weather. Finally the charging port was worn out from plugging the phone in so many times to charge it, and the plug was too loose and the phone wouldn't charge. I gave up and bought a 14 pro at the start of 2023. I did replace the port and battery on my 6s after I activated the 14, and the 6s is a great backup camera/music player now.
