Imagine getting overly excited just because Analog TV is dead now. It isn't quite the case anymore with digital television hitting the dust next, isn't it?

So glad in Ukraine the analog tv shutdown happened in august-september 2018 so I've lived 10 years watching the analog tv.

I remember going to my vacation home in Florida with my family about 2 weeks after this happened. My little brothers were like, "Dad, wtf is wrong with the TV?" so he told us that analog TV shut down and he whipped out a DirecTV cable box. So that means we could finally watch some actually decent channels other than local channels, where the only thing for kids was motherfuckin' PBS Kids.

Hugs From Brazil, here 2012 first channels in Brazil end Analog signal. But today we still have the last channels in analogue, Total End for 2026. However, they should happen much sooner than expected.

Today, in Ireland, most tv boxes still use Interlaced scan instead of progressive. Which pisses me off because it’s not as high of a picture quality as 1080p, even when every analogue channel has been gone since 2012 (which might I add is actually quite strange)
