I just realized that Hank seeing the wall begin to crumble (in addition to being scary af) also may have reinspired him to try and tear the radiator from the wall.
Draaahmatic prairie dog 😂
I’d pay stupid money for a theater troop to do a flash mob with this 😂
Patrick Page needs to voice a Disney villain.
God I miss this show so much...
Titus is flawless.
love it
Well, Summer got plowed
The fact that we’re not getting a third season of this show is devastating. Especially since the next era of musicals they’d be going into would be SO GOOD - and probably a little more universally popular, since it would reference shows that would likely be more familiar to the casual musical theater fan 😭😭😭
Love this scene I’ve made the same argument to preacher vegans (thoses who try to force their choices on you and call you evil for wearing leather or eating meat) but I usaly add the fact that one cow feeds a lot more people then you get out of the amount of land need to feed it
All of those preacher types use animal products from the same livestock. Asphalt, electronics, motor vehicles, some types of money, some housing materials, etc... are made with animal products. They may preach it, but they don't practice it.
I think because of this he decided to mentor Esther and nurture her genius. :-)
Can someone explain the context? Haven't seen these episodes yet. I assume she's against cattle for meat, is that it?
She claims to care about all animals so Keven points out her inconsistency. Later she goes to his house and plays house.
@@SteversChed Oh ok thanks. So it sounds like he's arguing against too much commercial farming, and if we have comm farming, why cant we have livestock grazing. He's right. Well, they both kinda are. Free range grazing is ok IF it doesn't take over the environment. Same with commercial ag. there must be a balance. But the massive cattle farms are very bad for the environment. And small, locally run farms are better.
The fact that the lines rhyme takes this to a whole new level
This argument has been debunked. Tew and MacDonald studied wood mice between 1987 and 1991 to understand how the harvesting of grain affects their numbers.[1] In one study, they fitted radio collars to 33 wood mice on three different sites. They wanted to find out how many of them are killed when a combine harvester shreds a wheat field. With all the propaganda about mass extinctions caused by crop harvesting, you might think that they were bracing themselves for a mouse apocalypse. Turns out, of the 33 mice, 32 survived the combined harvester - that’s 97% of them! The act of harvesting posed virtually no threat to these mice.
So nothing has changed in thirty years? Of course it has. You guys are always quick to claim it's debunked while using sources from decades ago. There is more to plant farming than harvesting. Tilling, fertilizing, planting, harvesting, weed/insect killer, etc... Cool that you brought up only mice from a minor study on harvesting from over thirty years ago though.
So what you’re saying is that taking 100,000 acres of virgin land and turning it into a farm for vegan bullshit foods DOESNT kill and displace the animals living there?
That’s not even what the argument is here. He said plow a field not harvest a crop. Plowing the field is literally ripping the soil up and completely displacing all the animals and bugs on it
My name is Miriam
"these drugs ain't shi-"
😂😂😂😂😂
Sad this got cancelled.
I completely agree.
I've memorized this speech. Vegans are the new bible thumpers.
I would be surprised if hank didn't piss himself
What a stupid argument. 70-80 % of worldwide soy produce goes to animal food. Similar numbers are there for other crops. These show writers are a joke, a real "protester" would have known that.
After it is first used for humans. How does that change what he factually stated anyway? A "real" protestor usually doesn't have all of the facts either. Look at Earthling Ed. He literally uses animal products needlessly all of the time and pretends he doesn't.
I'd love to see Dove Cameron play Columbia in Rocky Horror.
doctor who?
I love Dove Cameron just Vibin
Thank you for this. Hilarious
Thanks Ted hope you got paid!!!
How have I only just found this now. This is amazing. I love the Total Eclipse of the Heart literal vid and this one is just as good. So many good lines and dying at the dance scene. 🤣🤣🤣
Is there an inspiration song or musical for this song? I MUST hear more of this type of music, especially with the dark sounding guitar leads. I could listen to a whole musical of this type of genre, whatever you'd call it. If anybody knows, please tell me!
According to Schmigadoon creator, it's Johanna (Mea Culpa) from Sweeney Todd czcams.com/video/1h_bmk2hhIw/video.html

I really wish I'd never seen this scene, because now anytime misuses unique I can't ignore it.

Dont watch much tv never seen this show. But to see a clip that actually challenges a leftist ideology openly and then destroys said leftist ideology with fact based logic might give me hope not all tv is leftist garbage. Ill be watching this show now from the beginning and see if this was just a one off. Would be nice to have some decent entertainment not just some disguised leftist propaganda like almost everything else.
I suggest you study biology at a minimum. Any decent professional who works with livestock will tell you that his statement is completely wrong. The first is because most of the land used in agriculture is used to feed livestock, mainly soybeans and corn. Secondly, for a simple matter of food conversion, if you think a little about the subject, you understand that to raise livestock we have to plant a much larger area than if we feed directly from agriculture. In order for a cow to gain 1 pound of meat over time, it needs to have eaten more than 20x that amount of feed (which is usually a mixture of soy and corn). So in fact the overwhelming majority of land that is used in agriculture goes to feed livestock and not humans directly. The United States' largest crop in terms of total production is corn, most of it grown in a region known as the Corn Belt. The second largest crop grown in the United States is soybeans. Most of that goes to feed cattle in the US So actually eating food directly from agriculture (Instead of Livestock) would drastically reduce the area needed for agricultural use By the way, I am not vegan nor will I ever be vegan, I am veterinarian that works mostly with cattle and horses, and I do love eating meat, I am just pointing out how wrong he actually is this scene
@@hellhound3969 You're making things up. Most of the crop agricultural land is used for humans. Livestock get the waste. What you claim would have been true over ten years ago. And secondly, he was pointing out her inconsistency. Even if the rest of what you claim is true, she still eats crops that require animals to die. There is no healthy plants only diet. We are omnivores. Find a legitimate study that shows otherwise.
If you had actually listened to what he said, he never made any claims about the amount of land needed to serve a vegan diet. He only pointed out that vegans assume an unearned moral high ground despite the fact animals die to feed them as well.
@@ClarqueAllen That is your point of view. But his argument about the dead animals in a field is just solid stupid. Animal production creates more deaths.
@@ClarqueAllen And to add: There a billions of animals just born for food. The ratio between these and the ones in the fields is not even nearly the same.

Stomp those grapes and turn around, dramatic prairie dog, get back up again. Stick em up! Play the air guitar. Stick em up! Play the air guitar. Elvis Presley, Elvis Presley bring it to play!
Just so you know, the last line is actually "bring in the plane."
I thought non-vegans cared about cute animals. Quinoa and Sorghum?
Are you sure you want to "heart" my comment? What I'm saying is: while vegans try to care about the largest amount of animals they can, it's the non-vegans who only care about cute animals. As for "quinoa", why did the screenplayer use that specific word? Is it because it sounds like an easy way to mock those dirty, dirty hippies who eat fancy, hipster food instead of hotdogs? "Sorghum", really? Is it because all-American cowboys must hate the Chinaman or else they're not loving the motherland? That's pretty poor writing. But hey, it seems to work with the hoi polloi, so whatever keeps them glued to that screen, I guess.
@@gie51917 Dutton is pointing out that she is ethically inconsistent. "try to care about the largest amount of animals" Insects > mammals They are all fine with using animal products even from the largest animals. They just pretend to be against it.
@@SteversChed so is the choice of those two specific words *quinoa* ( "them damned hipsters") and *sorghum* ("them damned chinamen") not an attempt on the part of the screenwriter to pander to the potential viewers of this kind of lowbrow stuff? Is eating political? Aren't anti-vegans who go "aww" watching a cute puppy video and "womp womp" watching a lamb ethically inconsistent, as well? Too many questions, maybe.
@@gie51917 Zone out a bit and just accept the facts.
@@SteversChed Facts? I don't know you but I see opinions rather than facts.
He hit the nail on the head but unfortunately in real life he would only be trying to introduce logic into someone who does not think logically.

@@Glock2201 They are making things up.
@@SteversChedYou clearly don't know anything about food productions " Animal agriculture is the soybean industry’s largest customer, and more than 90% of U.S. soybeans produced are used as a high-quality protein source for animal feed. About 70% of the soybean’s value comes from the meal, and 97% of U.S. soybean meal goes to feed livestock and poultry." Actual data about soybean production from the American Soybean Association You are clearly the one making things up. Not sure were the hell did they teach you that animal feed is just waste, you clearly have never worked with agriculture or livestock in your life if that is what you think "Even if the rest of what you claim is true, she still eats crops that require animals to die. " "There is no healthy plants only diet. We are omnivores. Find a legitimate study that shows otherwise." Read my comment again and then maybe you can stop making a fool out of yourself, I am not vegan, nor am I adcvocating for vegan diets, what I am saying is that his comparison that you still have to kill animals in order to feed the population is a falacy. After all using a fraction of the land we currently use we would be able to produce more than enough food to feed the current population. Maybe next time you should study a little before triying to lie ? Or is you intention to mislead people you don't actually work with livestock/agriculture???

My moms grew up in a religious military cult together. And then one day they go off in a joy ride together and they fell off the skiff together into a weird jungle-type thingy. Big Mom found a great big sword in the middle of this jungle, and it kind of drove her and Little Mom apart for a while. They ended up on opposite sides of the military cult’s war against some hereditary monarchs or other. Then they fought some more and then they made up and they killed the cult’s leader together after turning off a superweapon via kissing. My dads…well they met each other at a theme park. One of them trying to get away from some bad family problems and the other was just vibing. Turns out the actress who built the park was a wacky person. One of those Necromancers, you know. Could body hop between park guests and staff, you know. So they had to put aside their differences to defeat her scheme and fortunately, they had the help of Dad’s magical dog to do so. Quite a big escapade, if you ask me. So one of my moms was a powerful young witch from a mighty old family, and my other mom was a neurodivergent kid from the boondocks and they met in high school and they learned magic together and there were adventures with mom’s mentor and little brother, but they didn’t get together until the asshole who was in charge of the nation died horribly and they could be in love with each other without him punishing them or hurting the ones they loved.
