Men, i said today to my student i will never buy a new guitar cause i have enough but suddenly see your video and i was shocked by your very unique model. If you take the challenge to built a classical guitar (I'm a one of them) with that system, I will intersting to buy yours someday. Great video! Just bought one of these, after almost 20 years of not playing I really wanted to get back into it. Perhaps its a midlife thing I dont know. I wanted something new to kind of rekindle the same "whoa" that made getting callouses and tired blistered fingers so very worth it so long ago at age 12. I heard one of these sing out at the guitar shop it sounded soooo nice! The sustain was wicked! When I turned the corner to see what was producing the sound I had to look a few times at the headstock to register it was not a name I had heard about. THAT was even more awesome to me because I was expecting something in a much higher price range. The older englishman playing it noticed me and said "I fink eet sound ravfer noice." I agreed. He didnt work there but was trying one out after hearing good things. I went home, did some more research and I'm glad you are getting some recognition for your work and then to find out where they are made being one province over - bombs away - sold! It is a pleasure to pop in a cigar, noodle around and chord out some tunes. Rusty doesn't even come close to describe my state of playing, arthritis and the wear and tear of last 18 years have been rough on my booger hooks but it's slowly coming back and 1 backwoods cigar is about the right session time for now. This guitar was just what this tradesman needed. It looks great so I want to pick it up, it sounds amazing so I want to hear it sing and it is easy to play so it isn't frustrating and I want to keep playing it. Thanks for the music!

Hello. Great that you caught on to that idea. I've been building cigarbox guitars for a couple years and have been building them neck through much the same way as your guitars. Banjos also use basically a neck through. Liked your video. Thanks.

I'd love to play one of these guitars, very interesting. However, a better test would be with ONE microphone. The Riversong has a side port and the Martin does not, so the top microphone kinda skews the results.

It looks like it has great design features. The action adjuster is revolutionary and should be fitted as standard on all decent acoustics (all patent money to Riversong!). Unfortunately, all the videos I’ve watched on these guitars, show beautifully made instruments, that to me, sound good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Maybe it’s the piezo that gives everything that slightly ‘rubber band’ quality.

Just FYI, the term "double top" is already in use in the classical guitar world to describe a top in which there are two layers of wood around a kevlar core, all glued together with epoxy. So your use is a bit confusing. Yours is really more of a laminate.
