I have a rotator cuff tear and possible labrum tear. My symptoms are similar to yours.

Where did you feel your pain? I recently found out I have a deep labrum tear and a cyst but I feel constant pain in the back of my shoulder. Is that where you feel pain?

I’m 2 weeks post op from my second shoulder surgery. My shoulder was in bad shape it took 4 anchors to stabilize my shoulder a lot of internal sutures also had a labrum tear. If my shoulder comes out of socket again I will need a shoulder replacement.

Ive had VNS surgery and the nerve block does take several hours and up to two days to get through. Is to take things slow is not to be working or computer work the nerves in your upper areas will feel very tingly and you need to go easy. Upper area survery takes a long time to heal and thr muscles dont heal dont heal overnight .

You had an outer body experience

I’m stuck in the middle zone right now I will be getting labrum repair surgery on my dominant arm (left) and I had surgery on my right back in 2012, really hope this one doesn’t take long . Just waiting for a referral for another surgeon

I had my shoulder surgery done two weeks ago they didn’t prescribe me anything that good. But the block was very annoying.

After your surgery and all that time recovery were you able to do everyday things like brush your hair and lift your arm above your head? I have a torn rotator cuff. Still waiting to go to surgery for it.

@kimberleylynn Hi Kimberley…I also broke my ankle in the service and have a torn labrum in my shoulder AND hip !! I was so wowed to hear you say that lol !! Ugh…I’m about to have the shoulder surgery also. The radiologist said my rotator cuff is torn also, but my orthopedic says it not 🤷 I just shattered my leg last December, 2 plates and 12 screws. I’m still not over that and it’s sucked mega. I’m going to watch your other videos also. I sure hope your recovery has gone well and you’re doing better? Could you tell me how your shoulder is now? Do you recommend surgery, if there is pain that's been re-occurring for about 9 years? I have weakness, numbness, and pain everyday in my dominant shoulder and arm. I've seen three shoulder specialists for it through the years, two didn't recommend surgery and one immediately wanted to perform surgery (this doctor/surgeon was the first specialist I saw). I want my shoulder back...I miss doing push-ups and working out. Most importantly, I am worried about not being able to use my arm in the future. Recently, it feels as though my shoulder has gotten worse. Even running, one of my most favorite things to do, is painful up there. Needless to say, there are so many people saying surgery for the shoulder is a bad idea, but there are also people that seem to have gotten a "brand new" shoulder, so-to-speak, out of having shoulder arthroscopy. As a young man, it's extremely depressing and emasculating to have this problem. If I somehow get married, I want to be able to pick up my wife (e.g., to tuck her into bed). I think about everything that is affected by my current state. It's difficult to stay positive, but I'm still here. Also, I live on my own, so I would have to take care of myself post-operation. I hope to hear from you soon.

I am having my third shoulder surgery next week. It's been less than two years and I already need a third one. This video and you're previous video definitely are similar to how I felt going into surgery.

I had ulnar nerve decompression surgery back in 12/2021. I think it was a 35 minute surgery. I can relate to the nerve block. I had mine in the side of my neck as well. I was pretty much normal later that night.

Hello i feel you i had my surgery on Monday the 23 and now it really bothers me on my stitches but don't be on it every 30 minute. I'm 48 and the oxy really doesn't work on me like it does to you. But it does take the pain away.

i'm having an open labrum repair with capsular shift and the latarjet procedure on december 16th. it's got me a little nervous and i watched a video on the actual surgery which i probably shouldn't have done because 🤮 but i'm a super curious person. i'm still kinda nervous

wow are you me??? back in june 2021 i did a deadlift felt immedate tear in my left hip i had debiltating pain in it for over a year was certain my labrum was torn but it somehow managed to heal naturally my hips get a bit tight at times but thank god that pain subsided.. now back in june 2022 my friend pushed on my left shoulder weird i felt a pop took it easy returend to a shoulder workout too soon and boom now im stuck with even worse chronic constant shoulder pain at only 21 years old! seeing this inspired me im thinking im going to need a surgery might try a cortisone shot idk blessings though physio is expensive!!

What happened to your hip exactly? And before your shoulder surgery did you get any pain like in the lat or pectoralis area? I have an MRI in 2 weeks as I Belive I tore my labrum or rotator cuff😭

Good luck. With your recovery. All the I surgery videos I watched said the nerve block would last 24-36 hrs. I got less than 12 out of mine. Ice machine is key.
